001. video. un: stonerwolf
[At first when the video feed clicks on it shows a ceiling but then with the noise of someone knocking things around the camera angle swings wide and downwards, revealing a mop of shaggy hair and then a kind face with blue eyes and the kind of stubble that speaks laziness rather than style, grinning widely enough to show off some perfectly white teeth.] Well hey there... city? I mean I guess I'm talkin' to all y'all at the same time.
[The feed moves as Drew stands, taking his phone device with him.] This thing is a hell of a lot fancier than my cell at home I mean look, 'm basically in HD. [Cue a moment of preening after that particular Texan drawl, the bartender looking at himself for a minute, satisfied with the results.] But uh yeah, guess I'm kinda gettin' off track here. The names Andrew Warner, but my friends call me Drew... so basically all of y'all can call me Drew 'cause we're all gonna be friends, right? [There's a look of glowing optimism in his face because Drew didn't exactly make enemies to begin with.]
Guess life here is kinda like life home, I mean with the basics at least, I'm gonna be tendin' a bar here, so I hope at least some of you like to drink. [He nods at that, as if to himself, it was basically home sweet home... just with some glaring differences that he wasn't going to get into right now because they worried him.]
Thought I'd introduce myself at least... but one last thing. [He grins, eyes suddenly glowing a supernatural blue, the focus of the camera changing momentarily.] Any other werewolves out there? Guess I'm kinda in the business for an alpha.

[Although he shifts on his own screen, raising the cell a little higher so that he can see it more easily, only a slight tremor running through him at the voice, it had him curious as to what the effect would be in person.] Proposition me? Somethin' got ya a little hungry?

[ Suffice to say that Jean-Claude's voice in person is an experience. He usually tones it down by default because he gets tired of people pawing at him when it's turned up. Incubus problems. ]
I have been managing, [ because he would not show weakness by implying otherwise, and he has been managing; but the sympathetic play might not go amiss, ] but I would like to find a steady source. And I am rather picky about my food. [ He is, in a way that is somewhat unusual for his sort of vampire. Jean-Claude loathes nonconsensual blood-taking, equates it to rape, and values the luxury he has of attracting willing donors. ]
A wolf is what I am used to, and we could come to an amenable agreement.
[ Well, he's certainly confident. ]

[Drew wasn't exactly a an of luxury either. When he said treat me right what he means is give me a soft place to lie down when I get too high from the drugs and woozy from the bloodloss.] But if I can't find myself an alpha while I'm here I guess I gotta find myself somethin'.

His smile is not smug, not eager, but indulgent. Almost expectant. Jean-Claude enjoys anticipation. Inwardly, he is hugely relieved to have an option at least potentially secured, although none of that shows. It is one first step. ]
You will find I am no poor substitute for an alpha werewolf. I can speak to your wolf as surely as one. I am told it is uncanny for those who have not encountered this ability before.

Hate to tell you man, an' believe me... I love vampires as much as the next guy. But you're not the real deal. I mean, it'd be as close as a guy is gonna get. But no-one fucks like a wolf... an' no wolf fucks like an alpha. [There's just too much werewolf stuff you're missing Jean-Claude, its not your fault. Drew just has very specific desires when it comes to an alpha.]

I do not disagree, there is no comparison. Nothing to replace the rawness of it. I merely mean, on a metaphysical level, I can pull at your beast as an alpha would, at least those with which I am familiar. [ He's decided he likes him enough to be candid, rather than reserving this as a surprise, which is absolutely something Jean-Claude would do. ]
It is not the same, no, but it is something you will not have felt before quite like this. Interesting in its own way. [ Plus Jean-Claude has his own benefits, and if there's one thing he is completely sure he is skilled in, it is sex and blood drinking, which are so like each other. ]

If you're offerin' me somethin' new and excitin' I'm not the guy who's 'bout to turn you down. [Because Drew was a man of the world and totally open to broadening his own horizons, especially if those horizons were being broadened sexually.]
no subject
Metaphysical does, in fact, mean something very specific and very real in Jean-Claude's case. It does not have the reputation it does in other worlds, for him, precisely because magic has always been real, and known, and the metaphysical is as much a part of reality as tactile experiences. ] Guilty as accused, [ he says in amusement. ] I would ask if you do not like the pants, but you have not yet seen them.
Bon, then we shall meet at some time convenient to you, and you will see what I have been so teasingly alluding to, and afterwards we shall discuss terms that will be amenable. Does this suit?
no subject
[Drew makes a big show of acting like he was thinking, scratching his head.] A time that's convenient to me? Well considerin' my whole life just went out the window it ain't like they gave me a schedule I need to work on. Give me a time an' a place, fancy-pants an' I'm yours.
no subject
Flirting and teasing are well inside the line. Extremely pleasurable feeding sessions... well. His pants stay on. And the longer he's here, the farther that line is going to get pushed in the absence of Anita. ]
Tonight, at a hotel room I have rented-- I will send you the details. [ Some swanky hotel Jean-Claude has rented a room in for this purpose, for two reasons: one is that he does not want to share his daytime resting place, and another is that he is somewhat mortified to have just a tiny closet to himself in shared housing. He is used to having an entire sub-basement underneath a dark circus. No joke. ]
I shall look forward to it with great anticipation. [ He will, actually, as it's the most normal thing he's done here, schedule a werewolf to be his meal for the night. Jean-Claude somehow makes that over-the-top line sound sensual and believable. ]

I'll take a nice hot shower then, get your dinner to the right temperature. [He grins, making it painstakingly obvious that this wasn't the first time he'd been in this peculiar situation and that he had no qualms about what it actually entailed.]
no subject
Reminds him of Jason, definitely. That is exactly the sort of attitude his pet has. It is odd to find himself missing him, a little. Jean-Claude usually keeps himself at arm's length better than that, but his wolf has gotten under his skin somewhat after what had happened with Seraphina. ]
Merci. But you cannot be a hooker, for I believe in this arrangement I am your-- sugar daddy? [ It sounds completely ridiculous in his accent and with his thoughtful demeanor, like he's looking for the term. It's an act Jean-Claude is playing up for effect. He definitely has a sense of humor past being an upper-class swot. ]
no subject
Aw shit I guess so, I was gonna say y'had to be a hell of a lot older than me to get called a sugar daddy but I'm guessin' there's a pretty good chance that you're older than y'look, huh? [Because that was the thing with vampires, you could never just guess by looking at someone.]
