The beings humans think of as gods are different, yes, but they still have bodies the same as anyone. The armor fits.

I traveled to Vanaheim and walked through flames which burned away all my impurities, coming out the other side as though born anew.

Probably. It's just clothing.

[ Magical, hard to obtain clothing that transforms into whatever the wearer wills it to be, but clothing nonetheless. For its original intended recipient, it would have been a wedding dress. For Angela, it became armor. ]
