I guess this is what you do when you're new? Introduce yourself on the network. So, yeah. I'm Keith, the Red Paladin of Voltron.
Uh... nice to meet everyone, I guess.
[All the awkward. What is this 'being social' you speak of?]

i guess thats a good thing yeah?
[Though, he had to think about that for a moment. After all, was he really a "paladin" in that sense of the word? He supposed, on some level, he could be considered that. Just with a giant robot lion instead of a horse.]
no subject
[What's a giant robot?]
no subject
like england?
[So, yeah... weird stuff like being compared to an actual knight aside, this person was apparently from a version of Earth. Keith was hopeful for at least a little bit of familiarity.]

[Is this familiar enough?]

no subject
[This place is certainly way ahead of his time, that's for sure.]

[Eh? Keith was confused by that response. Was it a question?]

no subject
im not sure how much has changed for a 'paladin' since your time to mine
[Not to mention it was for an entirely different race. Though, he was pretty sure it was mostly the same.]
no subject
does that match up.
no subject
we are defenders of the universe
i guess it works
[Which required some level of heroism in battle and chivalry during interpersonal relations, he supposed. So, yeah. Close enough.]
no subject
how could you possibly defend something like that.
no subject
we use wormholes to get around faster

not beyond some scifi movies and theoretical stuff
so finding out they were real was actually kind of cool
[And came in very handy when they had to run away from their first encounter with a Galra ship.]

and these simply exist then or are they manmade.

no movies
ok
um
moving pictures?
no subject
ah i recall one. last year in leeds. very short but fascinating.
no subject
so we have those
theres a version of them that focuses on a lot of futuristic stuff even for us
and some of those used wormholes in the stories
