[Oh boy, okay well. The 'right thing to do' certainly catches Ed off guard. He's never introduced himself on a network before, and this is the third time he's done this. Then again, he supposes he didn't arrive and see a bunch of other people introducing themselves either, so he can't really blame Keith for getting that impression here.]

Well. We're all stuck here together, right? And we need to figure things out together. So, it only makes sense that we at least try to get to know each other so we can actually do that.

[He didn't say, "like each other," though. Keith wasn't expecting that. Just as long as they could be cordial enough to work together, then that was fine.

He shrugged a little.]

It's something I've been trying to work on, to be honest.

[Keith wasn't the best at doing this because he tended to be wary of others and very guarded. But, Paladins put diplomacy first, and Shiro wanted him to "temper his temper", so to speak, so he was trying. He was learning, and he was trying. Keith was actually surprisingly good at backing off and rethinking his actions when told he shouldn't do something. He could take criticism. That didn't mean he had to like it, but he could take it and adjust.]

You can but it costs money? I have an okay job and since I go to school I get some money from the government. I just kinda want something more stable than roommates that come and go.

[If they were in the same room, Keith wouldn't be wasting his time talking to Shiro via text or video message. He looked shocked for a second, wondering if something was playing a trick on him.]

[Though, he had to think about that for a moment. After all, was he really a "paladin" in that sense of the word? He supposed, on some level, he could be considered that. Just with a giant robot lion instead of a horse.]
