[From the view on the screen it appears as if Yuffie is hanging upside down.]

That was a super boring introduction. What's Voltron? Like... some sort of lightening?

[Seriously? Keith glared at her.]

Why don't you show me what a good one is, then?

[He sighed. Voltron was going to be asked about a lot...]

No. It's a robot.

Oh that sounds awesome!

[She looks far to excited.]

I can absolutely do that! I am The Great Ninja Yuffie! [She poses on the other side of the phone before winking at Keith.] Also known as the Beautiful White Rose of Wutai. It's one and only princess here to say hello to all the people of Quarantine.

Yeah, it kind of is, I guess. [He shrugged, looking almost a little fond of the thought.] It's way more than that, too, though. In a way.

[He watched her.]

Well, that explains it. You're a princess. You have to have weird fancy overdone introductions, right?

[Did he look impressed enough? Probably not.]

[Yuffie is a rare case when it comes to introductions. She’s always loved being a little theatrical with it with the princess part of the introduction only being added recently. Prior to that she’d kept her affiliation with Wutai a secret, not wanting to bring harm to the state that she held so closely to her heart.

Not that Yuffie even realized she’d done this.

Her shoulders roll in a shrug.] Way more than awesome? Sounds like something I want to see. I don’t know about all princesses having such awesome introductions. [She hasn’t ever met another princess.] I’m just awesome.

The robot? Or the princess thing?

[Keith was confused now.]

Robot.

[Yuffie clarifies with a smile. She knows that she doesn't always make sense and she's 100% okay with that.]

Oh. Right.

Yeah. I definitely think so.

[He could totally focus on the robot. That was easier.]

Do you have robots where you're from?

Not exactly, sorta.

[She waves a hand.]

We have all sorts of tech stuff but it got torn up after the planet had been poisoned. [Okay, Yuffie had only half paid attention when Cloud spoke, he happens to be a very boring public speaker.]

Is your robot here? Can I see?

Oh.

[Kind of a post-apocalypse kind of thing, then... Keith can picture that.

He shook his head, though, in response to her question.]

It's not here. [He sounded disappointed by that.] It's probably better that it isn't, though. It's part of a set of five, and, well, they really work better together as a set.

[He considered her comment.]

What happened that your world got poisoned?

That is a VERY long story. If I'm going to tell it I need a couch and snacks.

[Also to jog her memory because there are a lot of details in there.]

If there are five do you need five pilots? Do you command all of them?

[She's imagining something like an airship.]

Well, there are five of us, one for each Lion. When they combine together, we each have something to control, but it's mainly run through the Black Lion. That's Shiro. I... I don't do that...

[Usually... Keith was trying to avoid thinking about what was going to happen when he had to go back home.]

But, it seems like we've got a lot of time, a common room with a couch, and a kitchen that has snacks if you want to tell.

So five robots becoming one bigger robot? Isn't that bigger robot slower? Why not just be 5 separate robits?

[Yuffie almost drops the phone while lacing her fingers together.]

Oh? What snacks? Also where is this couch.

[All important details.]

Actually, when the whole team is working well together, the larger robot is a lot stronger. But, there are times when we've found the separate ones work better. It's a judgement call.

[He glanced back at the common room.]

I'm on floor two. It's a communal floor, but there's a couch in our common room. And Lola keeps the kitchen on our floor pretty well stocked, so there are snacks.

[He shrugged.]

Sounds like a lot of thinking.

[She points at the video with her index finger.]

That sounds awesome. I'm on floor ten so I guess I'll see you in 8?

[That's a math joke.]

In... eight?

[Sorry, Yuffie... math joke, regular joke, bad pun, even a good pun... Keith's sense of humor could be a little lacking at times.]

<small[There is a rush of movement before Yuffie pauses and looks at the screen.]</small>

8 Floors. Duh. Well, 5 Floors now.

You came down three floors already?

[That was fast. He went and grabbed a couple of snacks from the second floor kitchen and then claimed the common room couch.]

Yup and now I'm down two more. Should I keep talking to you or just finish?

[Yuffie doesn't travel by normal means, she's sliding down the rails to his floor and having to much fun while doing it. The video blurs as she opens the door and slips it into her pocket. She doesn't turn it off but the screen is now colored black.

She jumps over the back of the couch and plops down next to Keith. She might have forgotten the reason that she came down stairs besides snacks.]

Nah, it's fine. I'll wait.

[And he did. He glanced back as he heard her come in and blinked as she hopped over the couch.

Interesting.

He waited a beat... and when nothing happened...]

So, yeah... you were going to talk about your planet?

[Yuffie looks around until she spots some of the snacks that he'd grabbed for their talk. She swipes up the nearest item and begins to munch before looking up at the boy she is now sitting next too.]

Oh yeah.

[Yup, she forgot.]

Where you want me to start? The planet is a super big place.

Well, you mentioned something about it having been poisoned?

[He blinked. She really did forget, huh?]

Oh yeah. Geostigma. So after the Life Stream diverted a meteor from crashing into Gaia it left the planet poisoned. [She continues to munch on some snacks, not bothering to expand on what Geostigma is or the Life Stream or anything else.]

It was this sickly black goo stuff. When it came to Wutai everyone blamed me too which is fair because I didn't do it!

[Yuffie pouts a bit.]

Anyway. The spirits of the dead helped cleanse the planet and those infected after a lot of fighting and running around.

[Of course she didn't. So Keith sat here looking completely confused.]

What.

[He frowned.]

I didn't really understand any of that.

What part do you want me to try and explain first?

[She can maybe bullet point it? Nah, that's to structured.]

Let's start with this. My worlds name is Gaia and I'm from Wutai. Wutai is the center of Gaia and totally the best place ever. Anyway. Gaia has the Life Stream flowing around it. It's the collection of all the souls or something of the people who die before they're recycled into the world.
