I guess this is what you do when you're new? Introduce yourself on the network. So, yeah. I'm Keith, the Red Paladin of Voltron.

Uh... nice to meet everyone, I guess.

[All the awkward. What is this 'being social' you speak of?]

I guess? I didn't stock the cabinets.

[Keith got up and went looking.]

I mean... it's not exactly all mine, either. I'm new.

[Yuffie watches him, taking note of what she sees when he opens the cabinets.]

Me too. Generally if it doesn't have a name on it then it's fair game.

Well... if Lola or Bill get angry that all their snacks have been eaten up already, I'll know who to send them to.

[He smirked a little over his shoulder and then came back with something that looked like pretzels.]

Lola?

[That name sounds familiar.]

I'm sure it's fine. Just remember my name is Yuuto and I live on floor 10. [Which is 100% not true.] Ooooooo, what are these. [She takes a bite of the pretzels and shivers.] Salty. You got anything to drink like an energy drink or something? I've decided that caffeine is awesome.

[Keith gave her a look. He knew that wasn't true. He wasn't that bad with names.]

Those are pretzels... I think. Or at least, this world's version of them.

[He poked his head in the fridge.]

I don't see any energy drinks, but there's soda in here if you want sweet to counter the salty.

[He had also been paying attention to Hunk back home more than he apparently realized.]

Yes!

[She hisses the end of the word, looking up at Keith with an excited grin.]

Okay.

[He poured them each a glass and then brought them over, handing Yuffie hers before he sat back down.]

Well, you answered my question. I guess, if you have anymore for me, it's only fair I do the same, right?

[Yuffie took a long swig of her glass before settling back onto the couch. Who knows, maybe she'll visit this floor more often and take more snacks.]

Okay, what's your home like?

Well, what about it?

[He wasn't sure where to start.]

I mean, I grew up on a planet. It was pretty normal... to me, I guess. No life force stream thing or anything like that. We have cars and spaceships, and we were just able to get to the furthest planet in our star system.

Though, a few of us found some ancient advanced technology, and we ended up halfway across the universe after going through a wormhole when we tried to lure away some super advanced and evil aliens so they wouldn't attack our own planet. No one knows we left or what happened, as far as we know.

Now, we live on a super advanced spaceship and are fighting against these evil aliens so they stop taking over other planets, and expanding their empire.

Sounds cool.

[Yuffie hums softly.]

We had evil aliens too. Well Sephiroth. [He's an evil alien.] No wormholes, that sounds more fun. Before now I never left Gaia. How many planets you been too?

Uh, well... not including my own... [He mentally listed off a few in his head.] Like five? Six? Something like that. One was more a moon than a planet... another was actually a living space creature that sort of resembled a planet, but yeah. Six.

Though, that's only been since we found the Blue Lion and joined up with Voltron.

That sounds cool.

[Yuffie finishes her drink and then slowly slides down the couch. By the time she's down creeping her head has found it's way onto Keith's leg and was now her pillow.]

So why did you arrive here? I heard it's for those who don't feel like they belong where they're at.

[Rumors are sorta Yuffie's thing but she misses glaringly obvious details of them.]

[Ahh... um... okay... so that was... that was a thing right there that she was doing. Sure. Girl he just met putting her head in his lap. Not awkward at all.

His face started to get warm.]

O-oh... uh... yeah. I've heard that, too.

[He looked away, feeling awkward.]

I guess... I don't know. I hadn't really thought about it.

[Though, he kind of knew. Shiro was missing back home. They were talking about needing a new leader. Shiro had told Keith he wanted him to take his place. Keith didn't want to take his place. There was a lot going on, and Keith wouldn't be surprised if something caught on to a random wish of him wanting to get away from Voltron at some point as a call to pull him here.

He just wasn't sure he was ready to actually talk about that.

Especially to a girl he just met who was laying with her head in his lap and... yeah.]

[Yuffie just continues to smile up at him. This isn't awkward unless you make it awkward, which, he's doing a fairly good job of but she has no intention of moving because his leg is surprisingly comfortable.]

Really?

[Her head tilts slightly, rubbing a little bit against his thigh before settling back into place.]

I'm not sure I fit in anywhere but that's okay. [It bothers her a lot but she doesn't want to put the complications of being princess to a state that's recovering with a father who doesn't stop to try and understand what she's doing and why.]

[He was trying really hard to concentrate on her conversation and not the fact that having her head in his lap was... actually... kind of nice...?

Quiznak.

Keith cleared his throat and then took a deep breath to calm himself down.]

Uh... why would you say that? Is that how you ended up here?

Sorta. It's not a long story but personal.

[She's at least honest.]

You're comfortable. I think I'm going to nap here.

Makes sense...

[He wouldn't push. He knew all about personal stories.

Her next comment, though... WAIT- WHAT?]

Now??

[His voice might have cracked a little.]

Yup. So hold still.

[She's going to snuggle up and get comfortable.]

W-wait- Hey now! You can't just fall asleep like that on someone you barely know!

[Because that was totally the issue here, right?]

But I do know you. We just had a long conversation about it.

[Which is more than other people that she has snuggled with.]

But-

[That actually kind of made sense? In a way?]

But you don't really know me. Just about me.

And I don't really know you.

I know you're nice enough to give me snacks and worry about your roommates. Also that you feel awkward when talking about a lot of people dying which means you probably spend a lot of time trying to help people.

[So maybe Yuffie is more perceptive then she lets on or maybe she's making it up. With the way she's talking it's hard to tell.]

How do I not know you? As for you knowing me... just know that I'm adorable and awesome.

[Ooooookay... She wasn't necessarily wrong, but he'd never heard himself simplified like that before. He stared at her, still feeling pretty awkward.]

[She turns to face him, large purple eyes looking up at him like a curious wild animal might.]

I don't know... what if I have to go to the bathroom or something... or...

[What? Don't look at him like that.]
