I guess this is what you do when you're new? Introduce yourself on the network. So, yeah. I'm Keith, the Red Paladin of Voltron.
Uh... nice to meet everyone, I guess.
[All the awkward. What is this 'being social' you speak of?]

[He glanced to stare out the window for a moment before turning back Keith]
You're alright after that fight?
[Even with all this still worrying about Keith]
no subject
I'm not hurt or anything.
[Beyond that, "alright" was a subjective concept.]
no subject
Good. We'll figure this out. Maybe someone will know something about how this happened.
no subject
[He had a lot of questions anyway for a variety of people, really.]
You're okay, too?
no subject
[He reached over to put his hand on Keith's shoulder. He was glad to have him here. He'd been wondering about doing this with people who didn't understand his issues]
no subject
Yeah. It is pretty off-putting. Have you talked to anyone else, yet?
no subject
I've spoken with a few, some of them new here as well. You?
[Shiro was curious. He knew Keith had a temper and could easily lash out at people if they pressed him the wrong way]
no subject
[Okay, so he'd held a few people at knife point, but he'd felt like he was being stalked. He was a little on edge.]
no subject
Where did they stick you to live?
[It's important that Shiro know where he can find Keith]
no subject
[Having a roommate in the Garrison had been one thing. This was a whole new level of 'no privacy'.]
no subject
[Shiro didn't like sharing with people. He couldn't sleep sometimes and needed to be up and he didn't want to disturb others. He didn't like even disturbing the other paladins at night and they knew why he had issues]
no subject
[Keith had his own issues being in a crowded space. He wasn't so much worried about disturbing the others as just needing some time alone once in a while. It was pretty taxing to always have people around. He glanced around.]
I've heard that, if you get a good enough job around here, you can eventually afford to get some place private.
[Keith had a feeling he knew what was bothering Shiro about being in a room loaded with strangers. He didn't specifically say it, but he'd seen enough of Shiro during his flashbacks to know that there was something, and it likely was something he didn't want to explain to anyone outside his immediate circle.
Keith didn't blame him for that.]
no subject
[Shiro wanted a place of his own. One where he didn't have to worry about bothering other people or too many questions about why he couldn't sleep or had nightmares]
Of course it would large enough for both of us.
[Not leaving his
brotherteammate here if he moved out]no subject
Thanks.
[He could do with his own space, too, really. This bed in a giant room with a bunch of other people wasn't going to sit well with him for long.
He appreciated Shiro thinking of him.]
no subject
Of course. I can't leave you behind.
[He knew Keith needed his own space as well. Leaving him behind would be just mean]
no subject
I hope not.
I'm glad you're here. It would stink if I was alone.
no subject
I'm glad you're here too. It would be harder if you weren't.
Well since you came all the way up here, want something to drink?
no subject
Sure.
[It was really good to see Shiro again... apparently okay and doing well, all things considered. Keith didn't exactly want to leave right away.]
no subject
[He wasn't going to be kicking Keith out after all and for the moment, he didn't really have any other roommates hanging out up there with him.
Shiro wandered into the kitchen, only to come back with two glasses of iced tea]
Here you go.
no subject
He took a glance around, noting the subtle differences between the two levels for the common area. Most of it was personal things, items that probably belonged to the other people who lived on that level. Keith took the offered glass when Shiro came back.]
Thanks.
[He waited until Shiro sat down.]
Hey... I was talking to someone on the network before I came up... Ed? He said they were thinking of heading out beyond the fence to see if they can find any clues to what's going on here in the old city. A lot of people have been feeling like they're being watched or stalked, and someone thinks it might be some ancient god-like being that's waking up and disturbing everyone.
[Keith had felt it, too, but he decided not to mention anything for now. Not that Lance was here to make fun of him for sensing something weird like when he revealed his work on locating the Blue Lion, but it had been enough of a comment back then to make Keith doubt bringing things like that up around people too often.]
no subject
Shiro sat down beside Keith, listening as the teen spoke. Shiro didn't say anything for a few long moments, clearly contemplating what he had said, that serious look settling on his face.]
I've had this strange feeling too, like something is behind me.
[Given his issues, he couldn't have said that wasn't created by his mind until Keith brought it up]
I suppose anything is possible. We have seen some strange things out there. I'd like to find out more. If there is something there, we should know if it is dangerous.
no subject
[Keith looked surprised for a second, and then relieved.]
I thought it was just me.
[Because after Lance made fun of him for sensing the Blue Lion in the desert, he'd been wary of admitting he could sense anything to anyone.]
Yeah. We should.
You should come with me to the meeting. It'll be on the sixth floor.
no subject
[And he is being completely serious about that. He'd periodically felt that way when under stress back at the castle, like with Sendak so he had honestly thought that it was just because of the situation]
Let me know when that meeting is and I'll be there.
no subject
Yeah. I will.
[For now, though, he would settle in on the couch here, and just... be okay... because he had Shiro back for a little while, at least.]
{OOC: End it here?}
