[The feed opens up on Doom sitting at his desk in his office at Gramarye, looking Very Professional, which is basically second nature to him because that's just the kind of guy he is.]

Good evening, everyone. My name is Victor and it is with great honor that I announce that Gramarye Magic Research is going to putting on its first ever fundraising gala next Saturday. It will be a masquerade with the theme of otherworldly. Everyone in the city is invited and we will provide the masks.

[He pauses for a moment to clear his throat.]

Attendance is mandatory for everyone who is currently employed at Gramarye.

[There's a glint in his eyes when he says that. Like he's completely willing to hunt every single one of his coworkers down and drag them kicking and screaming into nice clothes to go to this.

That look disappears almost as quickly as it appeared.]

We will also be holding a bachelor and bachelorette auction during the event to help raise money for to keep Gramarye running at its current level. If anyone would like to volunteer, please contact me privately and I can sign you up.

Why would anyone wear that mask when I took that wretched thing off the moment I could?

You know there's a black market for shit that we've touched or breathed on, yeah? Magneto's fans are probably the craziest but I've been down there, I've walked among the wannabe Doombots — the Doom-Battalion, they thought it up themselves — and if you don't have a mask off one then you ain't a Doomy fan. Same goes for papier-mache horns.

[He sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose.]

I am aware of it, yes. Someone once used an unaccounted for Doombot's power source they bought from there to try assassinating me.

[Not making a deal of it because assassination attempts are as commonplace as days that end in y.]

But I was speaking of people with some sanity, not obsessed fans of mine. I wore that mask for a reason and I no longer wear it for the same.

Why would it bother me? It's only a mask, albeit one I have extensive history with.

Are you considering wearing it or have you decided to foist it upon someone else to see if you could get me angered about someone wearing something so iconically me?
