Hey! It's been a while since I last posted to the network here, but for those of you who don't know me, I'm Marinette, aand I've been here about..a month? Or so. Welcome to everyone who just arrived, belated though it is.

Actually I probably gave my welcomes out if I met you already so -- not that you can't have welcomes again or anything but -- [ Headscratch. ] I'm.. getting off topic. I've been pretty busy this weekend, making some baked deliveries - Link, thanks again for helping me with that.

Anyway, I bet you're wondering what's kept me so busy, so, look! [ She turns the view around to show off a set of dolls. ]

Aren't they cute? They're actually of some... er.. people back home, and since the dolls I made of them are still back home, I thought I'd remake them here. But it'd be kind of selfish to keep them all to myself, so ..

[ Here she turns the view around again, where she's now working on another doll ]

I thought I'd offer to make dolls for anyone interested, ..for a small fee of course, in addition to designing and making outfits. I'm not limited to making those dolls though. I can make dolls of other things too, if I have a good enough idea of what they look like. Just let me know if you're interested in dolls or clothing, or if you need someone to design other things.

[ Finishing up her post, Marinette set her unfinished doll down and sighed. She really missed little Tikki. Absently reaching up to touch her earrings, she smiled faintly, then pushed her chair back, flexing her arms and stretching. ]

"Okay Marinette, time for a break~!"

[ She turned and padded out of the room, glancing around to see if any roommates were about. Though she didn't stick around long, and wandered out onto the tenth floor, heading over to the elevator to go and explore. Though she did glance around to see if any other tenth floor flatmates were around - she never did meet the people in the other room on that floor. ]

[ She had been heading out, but seeing as Yuuto was probably back soon, she didn't mind waiting. And she wasn't going to just let them wait in the apartment by themselves. She didn't even know him. ]

Obviously. I'm not going to sit outside doing nothing.

[ he's going to sit INSIDE doing nothing! very different. ]

... Uh, unless you need privacy for something?

Actually - I figured you'd probably just go back to your room and try again later, personally.

[ Kinda weird to think she'd just let in a total stranger - she was friendly and trusting of people, but she wasn't _THAT_ trusting. She scratches behind her head for a moment, then shakes her head. ]

No, not really. Come on in! [ She turned back around to open the door with a smile, waving him to follow. ]

What did you say your name was?

[ morgana is a cat. thus, he doesn't even consider that he might be intruding somewhere he doesn't belong... he sort of blinks at her as he pads by, making a beeline for Yuuto's bed. ]

Oh. Morgana. Yuuto's sort of like my sidekick. [ a pause. Then, belatedly and a little more quietly: ] ... We're friends.

[ Cats were totally more trouble than they're worth. Morgana proves that thought right when he walks right on in like he owns the place. ]

So you're from the same place as him - the same world, I mean. That's really nice. [ She might sound a tiny bit wistful at that. She's...just a -bit- homesick for her own friends. Her own troublesome cat partner. She shakes it off quickly though. ]

Uh.. should I- would you like something to drink while you wait? Water..Jui-- er, milk? Something?

[neyouze]

Well... basically.

[ he clambers up onto the bed, wiggling his little feet as he hoists himself over the edge of it before taking a seat there. Frankly, he's a little surprised that she's being so hospitable. She must be a pretty nice girl. ]

You'll get me something to drink? Wow, you're so much nicer than those other guys! I'll have some milk, then.

[ Guys tend to be a little lacking when it comes to being a host, she's finding! ]

Heehee, well it'd be kind of rude to not offer. Sit tight, I'll be right back. [ She turns, trotting off to fetch some milk. Maybe she should get cookies too -- normal cats don't eat cookies, but that was no normal cat. ]

[neyouze]

[ he nods at her, and, indeed, just sits there patiently. Whenever she comes back, she'll find him kicking his feet off the side idly as he grooms his upper arm.

Doesn't Yuuto not have a job, anyway? He wonders what that guy even does all day. ]

[ She pads back into the room with two cups of milk, handing one to Morgana. ]

Here you go. I'm sorry I didn't bring any cookies or anything - I .. I wasn't sure it would be ... safe for you to eat. [ Then again maybe he's like the kwami and could eat cookies. Who knows! ]

Ooh, thank you! It's fine. I wasn't expecting anything...

[ he's all smiles as he accepts the glass in his paws - what a nice girl! - until what she said sinks in, and he trails off, frowning in reprimand. ]

I can eat cookies! I'm not a cat. I'm a human! I'm just stuck in this body - that's all.

[ or that's what he'd like to believe. That part lacks the force that the cat-denial has. ]

[ She tilts her head, frowning, puzzled. ]

Stuck... how did you get stuck in that body...? [ She'll go get some cookies for him in a moment, that comment just... threw her off, naturally. ]
