[When Thor switches the camera on, it's momentarily engulfed by his face before he sits himself back. Now that the frame isn't obscured, it's apparent that he's not the only one there. Both Lokis, Angela and Sif sit either side of him, all situated around a booth at some sort of diner.

Thor, naturally, is the first to start talking.]

It has come to light in one way or another that we could be considered Gods. [He's keeping it vague on purpose.] It is true, in a sense, that we are are not unlike higher beings. We are not mortals and we have powers and abilities beyond what many would be considered normal. The myths and the legends, however, are not precisely true.

[He just wanted to clear that up.] As such, we thought it would be prudent to offer our services in times of need. For missions or protections, we can be of use in many situations. You need only ask.

[He says we, but he largely means I.

Angela, for her part, doesn't look as opposed to the idea as she probably could.]

I will add that I will require payment for my services, but that can be negotiated at a later time.

[ She glances around the table at her siblings as if daring them to counter her.

The younger Loki leans into shot, finger raised. ]

Should you require an actual god, we come in that flavour too.

[ Why would she be worried? That's absurd. ]

[ Clearly, Peter needs to get his hearing checked. ]

[ Or at least, he heard what she didn't say, or at least what he thinks she didn't say. Which absolutely means he could just be deluded, which is a high possibility, given it's Peter Quill. ]

Just so you know, I was joking, earlier. About the moving thing. I do that sometimes, you know? Make jokes.

[ She doesn't miss a beat with, ]

If it was a joke, shouldn't it have been funny?

[ And his voice practically carries the shrug, even without the benefit of the visual. ]

[ And the way she rolls her eyes is almost equally audible. ]

It doesn't count if you are the only one who's amused.

Physical tasks are a particular skill of mine, but I can provide information if it's within my realm on knowledge.

It absolutely counts. How else am I supposed to keep "out of trouble" if I'm not figuring out ways to keep myself entertained?

Most everyone on Asgard is a warrior type, but yes. Either Loki will surely let you know that my specialty is "hitting things".

I offer my services freely. Although it's dependent on what the task may be. [He doesn't want to get caught assembling furniture.]

Food is an excellent source of motivation, however.

I am friendly with mortals. [He wants to say he's friendly enough to use the adequate protection, but he remembers that Nico seems a little too young for that kind of talk.]

Perhaps in some worlds. I cannot vouch for the Gods of every universe, I cannot even rightly say I am a God. Though it could be said that those with higher powers forget what it is to be empathetic. They see mortals as nothing more than ants.

[Thor shakes his head.] I was more arrogant, once, but I would not see myself as an oddity.

And you're doin' this out of the goodness of your heart, huh? No catch?

[ He asks it in a doubtful sort of tone.

There's usually a catch, even if the guy decides not to say so. ]

[ There's a lengthy breath of silence from Peter's end, then— ]

You'll be lucky to get a straight answer out of Loki.

I've found that to be both a good and a bad thing, as far as my reputation is concerned.

I want for nothing here. I am fed, clothed and paid for my trinkets. [Thor shrugs.] If the time comes that my heart desires something difficult to obtain, I shall raise my prices.

As for now, it does me a service to occupy myself with something a little less mundane than Search and Rescue.

Perhaps friendly wasn't a strong enough word to use. For example, my father is Hades, god of the Underworld. He slept with a mortal woman and had two demigod children with her.
