[ Despite being relatively quiet on the network, Karamatsu has been keeping up to date with what has been happening in Riverview. Well, what was important to him, anyway, and what was important to him was the fact there was going to be a masquerade this week. Going to bed every night and knowing there are people out there who don't have perfect fashion for this sort of thing was making him feel determined, and dare I even say.. proactive.
Unfortunately, when Karamatsu becomes inspired, it's usually pretty bad.
Today, he's dressed in this and seems awfully proud of it.
He strikes a pose, spreading the wings out to show off all of the colors with an exclamation of "bang!" which is nothing like the sound a bird should make (was he bird or just being extra??? we just don't know.) Then, he relaxes, cupping his chin with one hand. ]
Heheh. It seems there's going to be a party on Saturday. If you want to look as perfect as me, I will be happy to help and tailor you an outfit if you do not have one. Please, no payment is necessary. Take it as kindness from my own heart, as I do not want anybody to have an insufficient costume for such an event.

Aah, but the outside doesn't always reflect on the inside! Surely, there is warmness in your heart, and that is what people will see.. and that is why people will want to be around you. People can hurt you, sometimes, but those that can set aflame the lighthouse in your soul.. they are worth your while.

Besides, people that want to hurt you won't go for people that look dangerous. They look for weaklings that need reassurance and friendship. Those are people that are easy to prey on - the innocent and the generous.

Though, I have many others if you remember. Osomatsu-niisan, Choromatsu, Jyushimatsu and Todomatsu.
But ah, the want to push others away.. it is very characteristic of Ichimatsu. Your reasoning might be different, but I think Ichimatsu is not confident enough to at least try and make friends.

Don't insult my family. We rely on each other.
[ All six of them do. That's how it's always been, and that's how they always planned for it to be after they were separated once. But now, Karamatsu and Ichimatsu have been separated from the rest of them by force, and he would be lying if he said he was okay with that. ]

Anthony - that's my brother - he used to beat the crap out of anyone that talked bad about me, or his parents... he wasn't even related to me, I never got why he cared that much. He even started... going by this stupid nickname because it sounded like 'Dodger', and he wore leather jackets just because I did... it was fucking embarrassing.
It's fine to love your family. Just don't let it blind you to how shitty people like me and your brother can be.

Karamatsu grew up being identified as the one who got into scraps the most often as a child even though he got the crap kicked out of him most of the time. As he aged, he got out of the habit, but it still rears its ugly head.
Like now, for example. His fists are clenching. ]

Do not say unkind things like that, especially to his face.
[ Ichimatsu already has it ingrained in his mind that he's useless and a burden. He doesn't need anyone to further remind him and Karamatsu knows that. Karamatsu, on the other hand, is stronger when it comes to being insulted, but he knows how fragile of a thing it can be when it comes to Ichimatsu. ]
And do not associate me with your brother. You and I are not related. The only brothers I have are the ones that have my similar face— born from the same womb— on the same day.
