So now that the god issue has been taken care of, I got a question. Mostly for magic users. How many of us are there? And is there anyone who can get access to Nectar or Ambrosia, or who could make some? It's kinda important.

[ clunk-clunk, he taps his sword again and then sets it aside to continue talking. as he does, his hands move and gesture, as one would expect from an italian. ]

Anyway, that's not the main reason behind this post. I noticed more new people showing up again. Makes me wonder what kind of myths exists in other people's world.

In mine, the myths are actually real, but most mortals aren't aware of that fact. Is there anything similar in other places?

Hello, Yuffie. [ mildly. ] I have no idea what Materia is, you know.

And we have a myth about a leviathan too.

Oh? What's your myth? Leviathan is the god that we pray to in Wutai. He's known to be wise and powerful like the seas he commands.

Oh, that stuff. Yeah, I don't think I've seen anything like it in my world.

Just that it's a creature that lurks in the deep part of the ocean, but it doesn't command it. That's Poseidon, god of the Sea.

Leviathan is the master of the sea. You can also summon him if you find the right Materia.

So it's a creature you summon? What do you do then?

Leviathan casts a tidal wave that wipes out the monsters.

[Yuffie answers as if it is the most common thing the world.]

Huh... still sounds like Poseidon. Different gods, different worlds, I guess.

Poseidon sounds like something you do in the bathroom. Leviathan is better.

Poseidon isn't so bad. He's got a cute son too.

Geeze, don't sound to surprised. I know what it's like to have a crush on someone who doesn't like you back. I'd say it's one of the top 5 worst feelings ever.

Though, I'm kinda glad for the feeling too. Knowing that you can fall for someone, even if they don't feel the same way. It's good too. [The bright side.] You know, sorta.

[ that prompts a snort that makes him shake his head. a lot of the time, it hadn't been anything good for nico. he'd hated percy for being so easy to love and he'd hated himself for falling in love with the boy he blamed for his sister's death. worst of all, he hated himself for being gay.

but that was in the past. he still feels the twinge of loneliness and bitterness sometimes, but he likes to think he's gotten better. ]

For me, it wasn't so easy. It's different when you fall in love with someone who's the same gender as you.

[ not to mention percy is technically his cousin on the godly side of the family. ]

I could fall in love with a girl. My dad would hate it but fuck him.

Fortunately, my dad doesn't mind. I suppose that's one thing.
