[ someone's currently sitting atop the residential housing building, on the roof, tapping his sword against the side. it makes a clunk-clunk noise as a small, skeletal mouse with fairy wings burrows its way into his shaggy hair.

nico looks a bit worse for wear. the constant dark circles under his eyes are worse than before and he looks like he hasn't slept in days... ]

So now that the god issue has been taken care of, I got a question. Mostly for magic users. How many of us are there? And is there anyone who can get access to Nectar or Ambrosia, or who could make some? It's kinda important.

[ clunk-clunk, he taps his sword again and then sets it aside to continue talking. as he does, his hands move and gesture, as one would expect from an italian. ]

Anyway, that's not the main reason behind this post. I noticed more new people showing up again. Makes me wonder what kind of myths exists in other people's world.

In mine, the myths are actually real, but most mortals aren't aware of that fact. Is there anything similar in other places?

If I recall correctly, it was established that your pantheon as well as mine exist in both worlds? [He thinks so, if he remembers the conversation correctly. He would be glib on the remainder of the subject involved in this post, honestly, were it not for the fact that Nico had previously claimed to be a demigod himself. Certainly, he could have been lying, but given the varying levels of magic that seem to exist in different people's words, Oz assumes it would be difficult for someone to maintain such a lie.]

I know not of your nectar or ambrosia but I have some skill in magecraft, to answer your first question. Historians have deigned to call me "great" for good reason, after all. An effective leader must be well versed in all areas of his country's power, and my divine blood would be wasted were I not to harness some of the magic it affords me.
[The bragging is probably unnecessary, but he delivers each word with such a casual confidence that it's clearly all important to his perception.]

In the age I have most recently been summoned in, most mortals are in a similar situation as those in your world, unaware of the true existence of magic and gods. However, there are no such extant demigods as yourself. The materialization of a Divine Spirit in the current world is, as far as I am aware, not possible so far removed from the Age of the Gods. Now it is only mages hiding their magic from the rest of humanity.

Ah. [He frowns a bit.]

Well, as far as I am aware, any person is capable of magic in theory, with training. However, different people will have varying capacities of prana in their magic circuits. I believe it is somewhat hereditary, with mage families generating power and ability over generations. But you would have to ask a modern mage for more details on that, I did not care to ask my previous master for details.
[Just casually drops in a suspicious term at the end with no explaination.]
