[ The video feed opens with one Hana Song looking absolutely pleased with herself and decked-out in her signature plugsuit. With an undeniable, confident smirk on her face, she declares: ]

First of all, shout-out to the guy from the Perimeter Guard who personally delivered the best present a girl could ever ask for—

[ Hana stretches her arm out, offering the feed an extended view of what's behind her: a large pink mech, whirring and glowing with lights. Its apparently pilot beams at the camera and flashes a victory sign at the corner of the screen. ]

Ta-dah! Riverview Quarantine, let me introduce you to my state-of-the-art armored battle suit, a.k.a. a mech unit for the Mobile Exo-Force of the Korean Army, a.k.a. my MEKA unit! Someone out there must really like me, huh? You guys are not prepared for what you're gonna get to see coming up.

[ The screen then flips back to Hana, looking very contemplative. ]

But I'm in a bit of a pinch here. None of my engineers are around, obviously, and I know some basics, but this baby's going to need a lot of maintenance. [ it is high-maintenance like its pilot ] I know there's a lot of new people coming in, and there's still a lot of you guys who've been here a while. Any chance any of you are mechanical geniuses who wanna help out? I'm looking only for the best of the best! Come down to the garage of communal housing if you wanna marvel at this beauty!

[ Does she mean herself? Or the mech? It is a mystery! ]

Oh, and one last thing? [ She seems to move for a little bit and then pans the camera so that a sign that reads: "MECH PARKING ONLY" is visible over her shoulder. ] This parking spot? Mine. If anyone parks in my spot my mech and I are stepping on your vehicle. That's all! Love, D.Va!

I've gotta say... [ He trails off ~for effect~, lips quirking into a small grin of his own. ] Yeah. That's pretty badass, actually.

[ Genuinely and honestly. Yuuto, for the most part, is a muted sort of guy, quiet and reserved rather than loud about how he's feeling; yet he does hold a sense of awe and wonder as he carefully approaches, idly circling around the mech as much as the space allowed—which isn't a lot, but it seems to do the job. He never thought he'd be seeing something like this in real life, that's for sure.

His eyes flicker over the various decals that decorate over the pink, then back at Hana. ]

... You said you use this thing for the military?

[ She doesn't pick up on anything disingenuous about Yuuto's response and it makes her smile. She's certainly gotten the impression that he's very quiet and reserved, so to hear him outright say that it's "pretty badass" counts as a win, in her book. Hana watches as he takes the mech in with his eyes, watching for that awe and amazement that her mech surely deserves. ]

Yup. See? MEKA, right there.

[ She points at the most prominent of the decals. There are, of course, other ones, ones from her ongoing sponsorships. Well, not exactly ongoing anymore but — ]

MEKA leads the way. We protect our country from the bad guys!

[ "Bad guys", huh. He wonders who those are supposed to be... Either fighting with robots is the way of the future, or they have a serious opponent on their hands.

The contemplative expression on his face could only mean a serious question is coming— ]

So... Is there room for two in there?

[ Har. ]

[ If this were home, Hana would proudly boast about fighting against the colossal Omnic in her MEKA unit, alongside her squadmates. But this isn't home and no one would know what an omnic was, much less a colossal one, and much to Hana's chagrin, that made it difficult to boast. But she can still boast about being a pilot and about her mech. So that's what she'll do. His question gets an incredulous snort from her as she quirks her brow at him with a smirk. ]

You wish. Nope, only room for one on this ride. Unless you're cool with being carried around.

[ HE DOES WISH... ]

Carried... That sounds dangerous.

[ Dangerously fun!! ]

Yeah, like, I could pick you up with the arms and carry you like a princess. Or you could try and hang on to the top, but good luck with that 'cause I can go pretty fast with the boosters. Why, you wanna go on a joyride?

It'd be a crime to turn down a sweet ride, but—ah... I'm not sure if being princess carried would be a good look for me.

It's princess carry, or you turn down an exclusive offer. I mean, you can always walk while I go on a joyride.

[ He just. Flicks his eyes toward her for a beat or two. ]

I get the feeling you just want to carry me like a princess.

Yeah, I mean, as a guy wouldn't that be really humiliating for you.

[ just. straight face. ]

So you're hoping to embarrass me. [ Not even a question, there's no doubt about it... ] But it would take more than that to beat me.

[ She was mostly joking, at least, so he just gets a laugh at his response. ]

Sure, whatever you say... I just want to go get food. Are you gonna come with or not?

—Oh.

[ Now that she mentions it... ]

... I am getting hungry. What'd you have in mind?

[ She looks thoughtful for a moment, but soon enough she remembers the challenge she had put him up to when they met. ]

... Are you up for some spicy food?

[ ... ! Now he remembers, too. ]

[ One hand resting on her hip, she uses the other to flip her hair. ]
