[It's been about a month since this weird, glitchy-looking styled message has appeared on the network, but here he is again. But instead of a list of quiet, seemingly random questions, it's a pretty legible question.]
There are people here from different sorts of worlds, with different sorts of abilities, and experiences that border on the supernatural.
The longer I'm here, sometimes I find it hard to believe this is anything more than a strange dream, or something along those lines.
I understand science and machinery. I don't understand the supernatural, only in the sense of Videogames and Science Fiction.
If you have abilities or experiences that are different from this 'normal' I understand...
Tell me about it.
Your magic, your reality, supernatural creatures or abilities...
I'm interested in that.

....
He should get famous before talking about fans of any kind. That's basic...
[But, that aside: he takes a moment before finishing his response.
A shake of his head.]
I don't have any friends.
Just you.
private
He's weird by extremes, but he's nice once you get to know him.
[ ...Ah, that's -- here he had his hopes up a little thinking Noiz found someone he got along with. Even if that pharaoh guy is the way he is, he would have been happy just knowing Noiz had made a friend. ]
...Noiz, is it okay if I invite some friends over for dinner sometime?
private
Having to compete with brothers... I'm not really familiar.
[Which isn't a lie, even if he's not aware that Aoba doesn't know who his brother is. He never had to compete with Theo because Theo was always the favoured child.]
It's your house, too.
You can invite whoever you want.
I'll keep my mess to a minimum.

I still can't believe they
[ Aoba's hands start shaking as he types and he accidentally hits send. Noiz' parents really piss him off. Even though he was raised by Granny, at least he had a home with love and warmth and acceptance... even when he was at his worst. ]
Sorry, hand slipped.
I want you to meet my friends, it's important to me that they meet you.
private
He shakes his head after a moment, not being able to puzzle it together. Lucky Aoba.]
...
Why?
[All that said for just a three-lettered response. Why is it important to you?]
private
[ Sheesh, how dense can you get? ]
Maybe I want them to take pity on me for having such a weirdo for a boyfriend.
private
I don't get along with people.
You should know that best.
private
[ Is it selfish of him to want his friends to meet Noiz, hopefully look past that brusque exterior and see the man he loves? To crave, just a little, for Noiz to meet new people and see the good qualities that he sees in the new friends he's made?
Maybe just a little. ]
You got along with Ozymandias just fine and he's insufferable, you'll be fine.
private
He's like a video game character. If you treat him like an NPC, he's easy to understand.
[There you have it. The whole reason he manages to 'get along' with Ozymandias. Because he doesn't see him as a real person.]
Just tell me when you want to invite them over, then, I guess.
I'll clean up.
private
[ THIS FACE, not that Noiz can see it. Although he could always... you know... walk into his room instead of being a nerd and texting him.
Fucking millennials]Just like that project - how's it going on your end? Need me to salvage for anything specific?
private
...A WIP...
[You can almost HEAR this in his tone, a quiet, almost confused sigh that it's said with. But he doesn't seem too insulted, at the same time--and he accepts it. Aoba's not really wrong, after all.]
I almost have everything set up, it's ready to test on a bigger scale.
I just need to make a few more block projectors to set it up to be played anywhere in the city.
[A pause, and then one of the oddest things he's said to Aoba:]
You've been doing a good job bringing what I've needed so far.
['Thank you'.]
private
[ It's an incredible project, one that Aoba's already feeling restless and impatient to see in action. The closer it gets to completion, the more wound up he seems to get. Playful, too, just like an excited kid. ]
Was that gratitude I hear, Noiz?
...
Can you 'say it plainly'?
private
Does Aoba really think...
No, there's no point in holding anything back. He replies, savagely:]
I couldn't have done this without you.
private
Hmm, close enough. Thank you for all your hard work. ☆
