Draco looks a bit uncomfortable but puts on a good front, smiling. The camera isn't all that steady as he holds it at first. He's not used to this.]

Hello populace of Riverview. I am Draco Malfoy and I have recently accepted the position of Community Ambassador. As such I wanted to greet all fo you, and was informed this was the best way to do so.

[Time to make yourself seem more approachable now, Draco...]

Forgive me if this isn't the best use of this means of communication, I am still learning. I will look to you all for guidance in the coming days as I learn about our city. It is my goal to help all new arrivals as well as everyone in residence currently. I want to see our economy grow and our new home prosper.

Please, do not hesitate to introduce yourself to me. Also, please come to me with any concerns or issues you may have. I will endeavor to try and help you either myself, or at least get you in contact with those who can. I look forward to working with you all.

[Another smile appeared on his lips, seemingly genuine. And really, it is. More genuine than the first as he gained more confidance as he spoke. Easily falling into the role of a public speaker. It wasn't all that different from the way he'd been educated in and the circles he had run in before. It also helped that no one here knew him and his past.]

[Lovely. When the video starts Draco looks just as pleasant as before with a smile on his face. Remembering his lessons on etiquette and how to protray expressions and emotions he didn't necessarily feel. Shoving the annoyance he felt away. After all, Potter wasn't here and he was the only one really capable of getting under his skin.

As with anything, kind sir, it is all a matter of perspective. I find my position holds much importance. I, however, understand that not everyone can look at it as I do.

As I have stated in previous responses, I will help in acquiring employment options for those new to this universe. As well as help in gainign funding for different services and projects within the city.

Then allow me to pose a question to you. In what way would you find a Community Ambassador useful, and what duties do you thinks a person in such a position should perform?

[Draco's arms are crossed and his face in a mixture of seriousness and curiosity. Coming off as interested in the man's potential reply Inside, he was getting angry, but it did nto show.]

"Ambassador" is more of a representative - a title - where I come from.

I wouldn't have much use for one, honestly. I work for the perimeter guard, and we've always been a necessity.

[There is a sense of satisfaction he dwells in for a moment before he wipes the smirk from his face. He feels mroe in cntrol of himself and less angry. So once he responds he's just as pleasant as ever. Perhaps coming off less tense now in his new response.]

Now, that is where you are wrong. There is much I could do for the perimeter guards. I can advocate for more funding one your behalf to open up more needed positions. I can also help in procuring equipment and uniforms. Any supplies needed for your duties. I can be a voice for the perimeter guards to the government, and vice versa. In learning about the needs and requirements of your post, it can better help me in aiding in the placement of fitting individuals as they come through the portal.

How thoughtful of you. I have no requirements other than a gun, which I don't really need. I don't take much interest in the others here.

And given our necessity, since so many here are incapable of fully defending themselves, it's not like gaining funding and supplies will be a difficult cause.
