Gamora is working on that “reaching out” thing, on trying to get a better idea of who and what surrounds her in the city, and she might as well use it as a chance to stretch her legs and potentially come up against a worthy opponent or two. ]

What experience do you already have? Or do you fight only with magic?

[potentialed]

I've had some training in martial arts and I use magic to cast defensive spells and weapons. I've fought a few times using a combination of both but that's about it.

[godslay]

Then do you want to focus on mastering that combination, or do you want to practice more one way or the other?

[potentialed]

I think it would be good to focus on getting better with the combination. I've been trying on my own but I know it would be better with a partner.

[ And specifically, one that can handle what he can do. ]

Then I'm willing to work with that. Though I'm more durable than some, I expect you have means of controlling the effects of your magic?

[ She doesn't want to find herself immolated or something. ]

Yes. Defensive magic is mostly in the form of weapons and shields.

[ And he's not really likely to try dangerous spells on someone else. ]

And how do those magical weapons hold against typical metals?

[potentialed]

Pretty good. Mostly based on the strength of the spell.
