[ When the camera switches on, Gamora is in her apartment, Godslayer across her lap (diligently cleaned and freshly oiled), and she’s holding her communicator with her usual unreadable expression in place. ]
I want to expand my training opportunities. Those looking to spar or test their abilities – I want a challenge.
[ And with a slight lift of her brow— ]
Or let me know if you simply want others to practice with. Tell me how you prefer to fight, and we can work something out.
[ What a friendly and welcoming message.
… Except definitely the opposite of that.
Gamora is working on that “reaching out” thing, on trying to get a better idea of who and what surrounds her in the city, and she might as well use it as a chance to stretch her legs and potentially come up against a worthy opponent or two. ]

How do you feel about magic?

Even if Peter was in the room while Gamora recorded her message, sprawled out on the couch with his head resting on the arm rest, he's still playing it back on his comm device. For reasons. ]
You know, a "please" might've been good, there.

I have been wondering if you are as skilled with a blade as the Gamora I know.

That would be something you test for yourself.
Are you accepting my offer?

It's been...some time since Izzy's really sparred, or trained, with anybody outside of her family. It's not that Jace, Alec, or even Magnus don't provide a challenge. The fact of the matter is that they all know one another well. That makes sparring with them much more predictable than is always helpful.
So, why not?] I wouldn't mind expanding and sparring with someone new, actually. I'm Izzy. [She gives a bit of a wave, serpent bracelet sliding down her forearm with the movement, even though the other woman probably doesn't need that added into the greeting.]
I'm open to hand-to-hand or several different kinds of weapons. I'm good with swords, staves, and whips, if you're interested in any of those? [She can try anything once, after all. And she can handle herself. This does seem more of a friendly offer than a nefarious one.]

Gamora.
[ What a polite way to introduce herself. Good job, Gamora. ]
My preference is swords, but I can fight with anything – or nothing, if that's easier.
[ But she pauses, looking thoughtful. ]
I've never sparred with someone armed with a whip. How effective is that in close quarters?

I'm more hand to hand. I do have a weapon, but I don't use when sparring.

[ The unpredictability of new partners is what appeals to her, because she wants that element of surprise – on both her side and theirs. ]
