Gamora is working on that “reaching out” thing, on trying to get a better idea of who and what surrounds her in the city, and she might as well use it as a chance to stretch her legs and potentially come up against a worthy opponent or two. ]

Do you already spar often?

I haven't really sparred with many people in this place. I've just been using the monsters beyond the city to. But back home it was part of our training so I do have some experience with it.

[ So the answer is sorta.]

Then are you part of the guard?

No! I'm actually a doctor who works at the hospital here.

[ It's totally weird when he thinks about it. ]

But back at home I used to fight on the field and heal anyone wounded as well. [ Mysophobic phrobiests were invaluable assets on the front lines for this very reason. ]

I see. That's a valuable skillset.

[ She can actually admire a warrior who practices medicine – though she might question one's effectiveness in truly brutal situations. ]

Oh I see! It's very nice to meet you. I was debating on whether to join the search and rescue unit myself. But I figure just offering help and support on the side would be easiest.

I've noticed we have fewer hands available for support. You are probably more needed there.

Well whichever needs more hands, I'm more then glad to help!

Maybe I could also hold a class on first hand for people, if you think that might help?

That would be helpful, yes. Considering how dangerous it is beyond the fence,
basic field treatment would be a good skill.

Do you think I could stop by then, to give lessons on it I mean?

Yes. It would be something I should discuss with other captains, but I don't see why not.

Sometime in the evening, likely. Either before or after a shift change.

That's definitely doable for me! The sessions will likely run for about an hour to and hour and a half.

And I appreciate you giving me a chance to do this! I think it'll be really beneficial in the long run.
