It could not have come at a better time.
But I wonder how many were brought here to escape their lives rather than the immediate situation at hand?

There's only one way to find out if people are actually gonna be your friends, dude. And you can't get that from an app.

However, with a list of preferences and interest selected, I assumed it would cut down on the usual small talk

[ Bruce doesn't have time for that, or the hobbies necessary to exploit it. Most of his experiences these days aren't fit for public conversation. ]

But it seems most people do not communicate through Friendr anyway
