Are there not enough of those? I always thought humanity enjoyed their human condition. Flaws and all.

It's a character that's easy to connect to.

Humans like aiming for perfection, believing themselves better than anyone else. It's good to have a reminder that we aren't perfect, we never will be regardless of how long and how hard we strive for it.

And yet, you all struggle to remember it.

Most anyway. I have an ego like anyone else but I'm under no illusion that I'm perfect or ever will be.

Vengeance.

I have a trump card to ensure I at least get it.

No doubt.

But you are human. And humans have connections. You will drag your entire world into your fire. I'm now keen to see how far the blaze will reach.

So I am. I'm not sure if you'll ever see the blaze though, considering we are far from England and most here are from well after my time.

A God, hm? How quaint. Where I come from, the worship of any but God could ruin your reputation.

That is normal for mortals. It changes from time to time, but they have a tendency to learn towards monotheism. Even with large pantheons, the tendency to choose one and dismiss the rest is commonplace.

It is interesting to see faiths change so easily. I wonder how anyone decides which is right to them?

Easy. They choose whatever moral standards suit them best and force the rest on the sheep.

Convenience. How absolutely boring, though not surprising.

Were you expecting something better?

I suppose I still naively hope that we might be better than what I see.

You may improve your way of life.

But rarely, I find, do you improve living.

My experience? You'll find it will not match yours or anyone else's.

I imagine not. God, human, whatever one claims to be, everyones experiences are different. It's arrogant to think otherwise.

Arrogance rarely stops anyone either.

I wouldn't think to suggest that it does.
