You know, I love October. [ someone's more chipper than he was in his last post. ] It's my favorite time of year. When the boundaries between life and death are at their weakest. This is the time when we can learn the most about the past, learn the most from those that came before us.

Also, get a ton of free candy.

Naturally, this is my kind of month. And if anyone is interested, I can provide some free and real decorations. The kind you won't get in a store.

[ as if to demonstrate, the feed jostles as his skeletal cameraman tosses his head at nico. the son of hades catches it and twirls it on one finger like a basketball. ]

They're perfectly clean and even sanitary. And if people are afraid of me, that's their problem. I can get candy in other ways.

You know I use zombies to help me when I'm working at Loki's club, right? They're the perfect bad behavior deterrent.

I'm not actually dead. I'm definitely alive. But I am 87 years old.

So... how weird was getting your first cell phone? Cause that had to be really weird given you remember a time when phones were ugly bulky and wired.

This is my first, to be honest. Usually, I wouldn't even get close to technology. It's never a good idea for a demigod.

I've never really needed one, so it's not that big of a deal. Besides, if I really need to talk to someone far away, I can Iris message them.

Why would I want to do that when I could ride a pegasus or climb a rock wall flowing with lava? We don't really have a lot of time to sit around at camp.

Because both of those sound dangerous and not doable while curled up comfortably in bed?

I mean I'd ride a pegasus, but I also need stuff I can enjoy while in my pajamas.

Well, there's no electricity in the Hades cabin. Or, really, any of the cabins. There is some at the Big House, and maybe in the Hephaestus cabin, but otherwise, we have lights out at a certain time and when we're not sleeping, we're usually training.

So... you're soldiers in a camp without access to the outside world and you raise the dead and spend most of your time having fun that could kill you?

So... you're one of those people with a really awkward sense of socializing, having non-deadly fun, or dating?

Demigods, not soldiers. Though I suppose it's not too much different. And I'm the only one that can raise the dead because my dad is Hades. Our powers depend on who we have for a godly parent. I know someone who's the son of Poseidon and he has power over water.

But as for your other question... I guess so. I've never even been on a date. I've never met a guy who liked me that way.

That seems to be a lot of people here. No dating lots of fighting, which probably just makes hard stuff like romance harder. Well, I hope you find a cute boy that likes creepy halloween stuff all year?

They tend to work like homing beacons for monsters to find us. Usually monsters that want to eat us.
