What am I to make of this? {The voice of this new user is entirely too calm; too collected considering the circumstances. But he has been uniquely trained by, shall we say, a vibrant life? Which, incidentally, ended abruptly (and painfully) in his memory.}

An introduction, perhaps? All of those start to sound the same, I imagine. {He finally comes into full view, smiling in a way that could be polite - if it weren't for the mischievous glint in his eyes.} Something like: I am Earl Vincent Phantomhive? Does that suffice? Should I add "of England"?

{He gives a light chuckle before remarking:}

Is it? So many names carry that meaning. Of course this one I have in mind is rather special. Not many Englishmen have French names.

Traditional English names can get tedious. And French is a charming language.

I'm sure we never would have imagined differently. [Riverview is just gleefully tearing all his old wounds open this month. I really am working, I'm sure Undertaker will bring you by. I'll be in my office.

{His heart will only break more. Vincent has few beings in the world that he values, but his tiny twins are vying for the top spot.}

I want to hear of his final moments eventually. Not today. {He tells himself that is a kindness to Ciel, but it might not be.} I admire your work ethic, but I do hope you are not using it to hide.
