[You can tell from the moment Thor's face appears on camera, he's been through hell and back. His hair is almost entirely buzzed down, save for the tufts on top, with markings shaved into the sides. His eye is covered by a black patch, indicating an injury that he isn't happy to talk about.]

I've made some changes. [Bluntly, as if he consented to any of this.]

What else.. Some things have happened at home that may be of interest to some of you. [He hums, considering.] Odin is dead. I have another sister? Her name is Hela. Mjolnir is destroyed. Banner is alive. [He feels a little guilty revealing that one, but he thinks someone deserves to know.] I fought the Hulk. I won. I met a real, live Valkyrie- And Asgard is.. [A people, not a place, but..] The realm has been destroyed. My people are seeking refuge, I suppose I understand now what displacement feels like.

I have the remains of Asgard in a ship, floating through space. If a portal could open for them, that would be extremely useful to me right now. I'm a king with no land or people, now. Very poetic. [Does he seem terse? He's kind of tense.


And then Loki comes barging in, looking very much the same and carrying a large parchment. He glances at the recording with a frown. He places the map of Earth on the wall, pinning it with a single dagger.]

Must you reveal everything? Put that away, I have work for you.

[This sounds like a checklist to compare with his world. Odin dead, no sister, Mjolnir lost, Banner alive, Asgard gone including the people.]

At least you're not the only survivor.

If you manage to get to my world, I'll get you a state. There's a lot of empty bits, but you might need to help put out the fires. My Thor would also be happy to see another Asgardian again.

[He's sure he can convince Steve to carve out another chunk of America for them. If not, he's sure he could buy it too.]

Well, he's the only iteration of me I'd happily consider sharing my title with, if everything you've told me about him is true. [Thors in other universes, not so much.]

If they're empty for particular reasons such as heat, venomous animals and such then you probably know that we're hardy enough to tolerate such things.

He's a little bit grouchy these days, but he's really the best. I'm sure you'll get along. [And if not he'll feed them his Thor's special cookies he insists aren't laced until they do.]

Oh no, nothing like that. It's just a tiny bit of infighting. Steve's still working on knocking heads together and there's a lot of heads to go through.

I'll be the last person to judge a grouch, especially at the rate I'm going. He's got a few more years of this sort of stuff on me, too.

[Thor makes a contemplative sound.] I'm intrigued. Earth was my initial choice, but now I have different Earths to choose from- and one of them has a better Stark? You drive a hard bargain.

[Yes, he is officially the best Stark in Riverview. Suck on that old man. The neurotic one definitely had them both beat, but since he was no longer here Tony could take the crown.]

You're making me blush. I'll even throw in a multidimensional portal so you can go back and forth as required.

[They're still working on the one Mysterio used to come to his world, but now he has a reason to make it a priority.]

You're a generous man, Stark. Perhaps too generous. If you want me to kiss you, you need only ask.

[There's a knock on Thor's door and the muffled sound of Tony calling out.]

Pucker up!

[Thor rolls his eyes when he hears Tony knock. He's been in and out of the dorms, but sometimes he needs something.

Like a kiss.

Obviously Thor isn't one to shy away from a challenge. When Tony calls out for him he opens the door, allowing himself to be his full, imposing presence before he grabs Tony's face and drags him in for the world's least attractive smooch.]

[Alright, Thor is definitely challenging his best friend's number one position with the way he easily goes along with Tony's antics. No one ever humours him and mutual beard burn aside, it's delightful.

When they pull away Tony grins up at him and pretends to swoon.]

A man after my own heart.

I hope you don't think that you can buy my hand in marriage with offers of land and resources. I'm a difficult man to please.

[He smiles, giving Tony's shoulder a soft push.] But I appreciate it.

[If only Thor knew that marriage was a difficult topic for Tony. He plasters on a mock pout and pushes back more firmly since he knows he's not going to make him budge.]

And here I was all ready to rise to the challenge.

[Then he looks up and offers the other man a softer, more genuine smile.]

If there's anything you need, I'll get it for you. You've been terribly patient with me so it's the least I could do.

[Thor knows nothing, Tony Snow, but he knows he has a lot of difficult topics that he pretends are fine.]

I could use a new eye. [Blandly.] I don't know. So much has happened, I'm sort of at a stage where I don't know what I want. I have a lot to think about, and I'm not overly fond of that, as we know.

[Tony was the type of person who decided what the other person needed and procured it for them regardless of whether they wanted it or not. His Thor hadn't appreciated the constantly appearing phones, but surely this one wouldn't mind an eye.]

In that case leave it up to me. I'll get you your eye, find a place for your people and get you enough alcohol so you can process everything.

[Their shared areas has bottles everywhere because that's the kind of guy Tony is so that's one already sorted.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ His eyes narrow. ]

And what makes your world preferable to ours?

[inebriety]

Well if you're in my world we'll have two Thors.

[dothelokimotion]

No, thank you. I think I much prefer my own and just the one.

[inebriety]

Preferences for your own family aside, this really is a case of the more the merrier.

[Thor is the best and Riverview has not stopped giving him that impression.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ Loki isn't sold on it, but a different Earth is a more viable option than their own. ]

I doubt the other . . . Thor would be pleased to see me.

[inebriety]

When your whole family is dead, you'd be happy to see anyone even an alternate universe version of your backstabbing brother.

[dothelokimotion]

[ There's a flicker of something in Loki's eyes before it vanishes. He's playing a good game right now and holding up better than Thor under anyone's scrutiny. ]

What happened to Asgard?

[inebriety]

Yggdrasil was cut down. The realm fell shortly after that and I could only save him.

[There's a tight smile on his face. He meant what he said earlier, he's seen what happens when Thor's the last man standing.]

[dothelokimotion]

[ Someone cut down the World Tree? Loki quickly schools his reaction at that. ]

All the Realms should have fallen from such an act.

[inebriety]

[So things can still surprise Loki even after all they've been through.]

I guess it was less integral than everyone thought. Turns out it's just the source of all your powers.

[ His nose wrinkles. ]
