[You can tell from the moment Thor's face appears on camera, he's been through hell and back. His hair is almost entirely buzzed down, save for the tufts on top, with markings shaved into the sides. His eye is covered by a black patch, indicating an injury that he isn't happy to talk about.]

I've made some changes. [Bluntly, as if he consented to any of this.]

What else.. Some things have happened at home that may be of interest to some of you. [He hums, considering.] Odin is dead. I have another sister? Her name is Hela. Mjolnir is destroyed. Banner is alive. [He feels a little guilty revealing that one, but he thinks someone deserves to know.] I fought the Hulk. I won. I met a real, live Valkyrie- And Asgard is.. [A people, not a place, but..] The realm has been destroyed. My people are seeking refuge, I suppose I understand now what displacement feels like.

I have the remains of Asgard in a ship, floating through space. If a portal could open for them, that would be extremely useful to me right now. I'm a king with no land or people, now. Very poetic. [Does he seem terse? He's kind of tense.


And then Loki comes barging in, looking very much the same and carrying a large parchment. He glances at the recording with a frown. He places the map of Earth on the wall, pinning it with a single dagger.]

Must you reveal everything? Put that away, I have work for you.

[ It is clear that much has happened. But Angela has one single question before she thinks of mourning for Asgard. ]

You have been back to your universe?

[ Loki shakes his head. ]

We received a canister. With new memories.

[hevenly]

[ Well that is slightly disappointing. ]

More than just memories, it would seem.

[ You know. From looking at Thor. ]

[dothelokimotion]

[ Never mind him, he's a pirate now. ]

It was a difficult battle.

[hevenly]

Then I am glad to see you both survived.

[dothelokimotion]

[ He smiles faintly at that. ]

To be candid, you are a vastly superior older sister.

[hevenly]

Hela is your... sister, in your world?

[ How very unlike her own. ]

[dothelokimotion]

She was. Though none of us were aware of that fact.

[hevenly]

I see. [ How familiar, and yet not. ]

She is not your sister in mine.

[dothelokimotion]

I suspected as much.

[ Otherwise they would have been told. ]

Odin banished here long ago. Asgard had all but forgotten her.

[hevenly]

I do not know of how my world's Hela came to rule in Hel. I know that, until recently, she had presided over it for about as long as anyone can remember.

[ Asgardians are old. Maybe Hela is Loki's child. Maybe she is Leah's future self. Who knows, with the universes constantly being combined and reborn? ]

[dothelokimotion]

[ Loki shrugs loosely. Hela invites doubt in him but at the very least, he has kept it at bay. ]

She perished with Asgard.

[hevenly]

[ Angela nods solemnly. ]

Then Hel has a vacancy.

[dothelokimotion]

[ He blinks. ]

Yes . . . I would assume so. Are you considering it?

[hevenly]

Heven, no. One crown is already more than I desire.

[worldsaway]

They can alter you physically when they give you memories. I didn't ask how. Not sure I want to know.

[hevenly]

Evidently so.

[ Thor looks even more battle scarred than he used to. And yeah, the eye patch does remind her of Odin. ]

You said Asgard has been destroyed?

[worldsaway]

Yes. Our sister, Hela, was freed of her banishment when Father passed. She draws her strength from Asgard, so to end her we ended Asgard.

Physically, anyway. Thanks to Loki, there are many survivors.

[hevenly]

Then Asgard will live on.

[ Angela won't say whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. ]

Was Hela not content to rule in Hel?

[worldsaway]

Once we find a place to put it, anyway.

[Thor shakes his head.]

She was banished because her desire for conquest exceeded even father's objectives. As first born, she also felt she had claim to the throne. Rightfully so, I suppose.

[hevenly]

[ In any universe, Angela will find Hela distasteful, it seems. ]

Your version of Hela sounds even more horrid than mine.

Mm, she's probably the worst person to ever exist. I don't say that lightly. [He does, but whatever.]

What is she like in your world?

[hevenly]

Dedicated to her duty. Strict in how she follows the punishments given down by Queen Freyja. She did not give up the throne without a fight.

[ But Angela conquered Hel, in the end. ]

Sounds like you know her a lot better than I ever will. All I gathered is that Father banishes most of his problems.

[hevenly]

Perhaps he does. I do not know the All-Father well, despite being his blood.

[ And she grew up on tales of his ruthlessness. So... ]
