[Undertaker pops on screen, looking like his usual self. Smiles all around, hair veiling his eyes, dark though not black clothing. He has mastered the phone-thing as of some time ago, but he hasn't had any real reason to need to use it until now.]

[Now, he has a message.]

I understand there's to be a special holiday coming up around these parts. Hygge, it's called. They say it's about family and friends, whoever you might be.

[He shrugs, grinning a little more, and though it might look wild on him, it's not entirely unfriendly.] So here's what I'd like to do. Some of you know me from the little cafe on the corner, some of you don't at all. If or not we've ever met and you feel so inclined, I've a kitchen in my house what needs using and a want to make all the hot cocoa we can handle. Stop on by and I'll welcome you to a cup of it.

[He has directions for the house, if anyone needs it. Then, with a tip of his hat, Undertaker ends the feed, leaving the invitation open to any who might take it.]

I thought I might invite a few people. Jason, Doctor Crusher, Jon, and Laura. You and father are already there so my two most important family members are already accounted for.

[And he just smiles, so softly.]

[That smile.]

You invite whoever you feel you want there, milord. And I do promise to behave around Doctor Crusher. I think I've managed to warm her up to me just a little since our first meeting.

[sweetlies]

I'm glad to hear that. Both that you'll behave and that she's warming up to you.

[He laughs softly.]

I'm hoping to invite them tomorrow, if that's alright.

[somakemelaugh]

No, go on with it. I've no plans other than to make drinks all evening when needed.

[And that's it, really, aside from entertainment when necessary.]

[sweetlies]

You're supposed to be enjoying yourself too, remember.

[He won't let Undertaker be relegated into a job that's close to being a servant.

[somakemelaugh]

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. I have my ways.

[Servant? Oh no. Host? Any time. Just like old days back home in the parlor, serving guests tea from beakers and bone shaped cookies from urns.]

[sweetlies]

[He might intervene if he sees cocoa in beakers. At least while they have company.]

I'll try not to but I'll keep my eye on you. [Haha, get it?

... he's not good at this.]

[somakemelaugh]

[He doesn't own any anyway. Not yet.]

[And he catches the jest.]

If you must. Just don't put Albert away in a closet. I'd be okay with it if he went in our room if he starts to bother your guests.

[sweetlies]

[He grins a little. Almost proud of his... pun?]

I wouldn't dream of it. I imagine few people would be surprised, knowing us.

[somakemelaugh]

[Young grasshopper learn well.]

That will be good. I'll try to see that he's dressed for the occasion, at least, but you know how he is.

[sweetlies]

[Someone's a 'bad' influence on him.]

It doesn't have to be fancy, at least. If it's a holiday for family, we shouldn't have to put on airs. Not even Albert.

[somakemelaugh]

[Always.]

Oh, please don't ask that of me. I haven't any for myself, let alone him, and I don't look through your wardrobe to know if you have any either. [Hm.] Do you have anything so fancy? I must ask. The costumes don't count.

[sweetlies]

[Well.

He has Ciel there. Just as he opens his mouth to mention the costumes too.]

I suppose I don't. I have a nice jumper, at least? I don't think I have anything at all fancy otherwise.

[somakemelaugh]

[He shakes his head, face as it mostly is.]

It was only a question of curiosity. I'd intended to treat this as casual, since we're not quite going to a ball in the manor.

[sweetlies]

So did I, really. [Something to remember though, if there's ever a fancy dress party or something.] I'm actually glad for that. Dancing still isn't quite my favorite. And I would happily avoid wine.

[somakemelaugh]

[He can't help what his expression becomes then, but it's not cruel.]

You did well with both, I think. The wine can use a little finessing, but we'll give you time to sort that if you wish.

[sweetlies]

[Don't make him dance again.]

I could do without liquor. Ever again. I think. [He pales just the tinest bit at the thought.]

[somakemelaugh]

[Okay, okay, he'll lay off both. Until he gets older.]

That was quite a time you had with that there, wasn't it, milord? Not exactly the best introduction to such a thing, but not entirely uncommon, if you don't know when to stop.

[sweetlies]

[Or just a little taller, in one case.]

Ngh... It was the worst. And the drinks tasted so sweet...

[somakemelaugh]

[Whichever comes first.]

You didn't have a problem with it at the time. Let's give it a little time and we can reintroduce you to it. It's not as bad as you saw. You've seen me enjoy a drink or two in my time and I've never been ill off it. Nothing to do with being a grim reaper.

I didn't realize it from how sweet they were. [Deceptive and rude.]

You're older than I am though. And a good deal stronger.

[somakemelaugh]

[He shakes his head, all too bemused by this. If he'd been able to get to the boy sooner, he could have prevented this, but it's a painful lesson sometimes best learned by trial and error.]

Age has nothing to do with it either. Strength? [Another head shake. How is this boy so well educated in all aspects but this?] Milord, I'm going to sit you down one night with my bottle and I'll walk you through it. You're not going to be ill, but there's a process.

[sweetlies]

[It's never seemed important to know!

He's still pale at the thought, and maybe slightly nauseous.]

Do we have to?

[somakemelaugh]

[Yep. His mind is made up.]

I think we do. Do you want to be sick again?

[sweetlies]

Not particularly. I don't think I felt that awful even when I used to get really sick.

[He is terrified of the outcome.]
