[ Sif is... not overly used to public speaking, unless you count rousing yells to fire soldiers up for battle, or perhaps the occasional drunken rant about something or other. Hence she looks more than a little stiff on camera, unsure how to address a crowd of unknown size that she can't even see. ]

Greetings, I am Lady Sif of Asgard.

[ Regardless of what happened to her home, that is how she will always refer to herself. ]

I am a member of the Perimeter Guard, and I am currently in need of sparring partners. Those of you who know what it means to be an asgardian will know what that says about my physique and how it might compare to your own abilities.

To those of you not familiar, suffice it to say that my people live for a long time, and I have spent most of my years training for battle. It requires a great deal of force to harm me, though blades will fare better than blunt instruments. As for my strength, it is quite considerable, though I could not say what that would mean in relative terms.

If you think yourself up to the challenge, I would be grateful if you would make yourself known.

Funny, I heard Hela was the eldest child of Odin in your universe. That's near to laughable in mine; Angela took Hela's crown.

[ Cocking his head, he lifts his chin with pride. ]

Angela will be your greatest challenge, you should fight her first so that your energy isn't sapped by sparring with others and the playing-field is more even.

Then I wish she could have been there to do so in mine as well.

[ She hasn't had a conversation this civil with Loki for what feels like a very long time. It's almost nostalgic, in a way. ]

I must confess that it is strange to meet someone like you. One I feel like I know, and know that I do not at the same time.

[ Oho, enough shade for all of winter. ]

It's good to see you here, Sif. [ He means that, shrugging to try and lighten the tone. ] You survived Ragnarok?

[ Well, that was unexpected. For a moment there is naked surprise in Sif's face. A Loki that is glad to see her? How strange. ]

In truth, I do not know.

[ But she doesn't think it likely considering what befell the warriors three.

Maybe eventually the other Loki will come around to mentioning that she was banished and thus not around for all the destruction. ]

I bet you did.

[ She definitely died during the Final Ragnarok in his reality, there was that whole thing where the Old Loki stole her body and ... Anyway, never mind that. He can be kinder on the heels of their first Ragnarok. ]

And now you're here, chewing up the finest warriors the Quarantine has to offer! Except Angela, of course, because my big sister is invincible.

I suppose I should thank you for the vote of confidence.

[ This is so strange on so many levels, to the point where she is just sort of going with it rather than trying to make any sense of it. ]

And it would be a fine challenge indeed to go up against an invincible warrior.

I myself would do you the great honour of battle, but alas! I have a stomach ache. The fight would not be fair, to win when I was not at full strength.

[ That earns him a big eye roll. ]

But of course, it would crush me to be vanquished so easily.

Indeed, my only concern is your reputation.

[ In Sif's opinion it also makes him walk right into really bad ideas. ]

It serves as the shield he refuses to carry, buoying him up.

[ She got really used to being brushed off with a smile while the Bifrost was under repair and he was pining for Jane and Midgard. ]
