[ Sif is... not overly used to public speaking, unless you count rousing yells to fire soldiers up for battle, or perhaps the occasional drunken rant about something or other. Hence she looks more than a little stiff on camera, unsure how to address a crowd of unknown size that she can't even see. ]

Greetings, I am Lady Sif of Asgard.

[ Regardless of what happened to her home, that is how she will always refer to herself. ]

I am a member of the Perimeter Guard, and I am currently in need of sparring partners. Those of you who know what it means to be an asgardian will know what that says about my physique and how it might compare to your own abilities.

To those of you not familiar, suffice it to say that my people live for a long time, and I have spent most of my years training for battle. It requires a great deal of force to harm me, though blades will fare better than blunt instruments. As for my strength, it is quite considerable, though I could not say what that would mean in relative terms.

If you think yourself up to the challenge, I would be grateful if you would make yourself known.

[ He's actually happy to see more Asgardians. For Thor's sake, if not Loki's. But maybe this will help change Loki's mind too. If they are all away from home they can see each other in a better light... Or maybe he's still got that old fashioned notion of taking them all out camping to get to know them better. ]

Well, I'm also with the Guard so we're bound to see each other around. If you're interested, I'd be willing to train with you.

[ She is probably not the most pleasant addition to the Asgardian flock for either of the brothers, if for different reasons. ]

[ Steve is still trying to understand the relationship between the other Asgardians. They're different from the ones he knows from home and he doesn't know them all that well either. Without Thor, he's left trying to figure them out on his own... and it turns out that none of them really like to talk about themselves. ]

I'm flattered that you think so.

[ He knows he's human, not a godlike being, but he likes the challenge anyway. ]

I'd like the chance to see how you do it.

[ The deal with Sif tends to be that she comes off as very closed off, and in some ways she is, but when it's relevant or important she doesn't really mind sharing personal stories, even with relative strangers.

Naturally it depends a bit on the story, but as a general rule she isn't quite as much of an impenetrable fortress as she likes to pretend.

Now, she is very well aware that Steve is being quite literal here, but if she ever were to flirt (which is a very rare thing indeed) it would probably sound something like that so she raises an amused eyebrow at him anyway. Congrats Steve, you stumbled into some Asgardian pseudo-innuendo. ]

With great skill, I would like to think. But surely you have already experienced fighting an asgardian?
