So here is a question: How would someone know that they like someone? Not just as a friend, but as more.

I've dated before, but this... this is different than that.

[ Oh boy. Here we go. Shigeru doesn't mind saying what he has to on his own personal device. He doesn't think going anon is needed either. Because for him these aren't feelings that he needed to hide anyway. ]

If you heart leaps out of your chest every time you see them and your palms get sweaty from being anxious but for a good reason. I guess if you want to do whatever you can to make them happy and keep them safe is another way of knowing. When just seeing them smile makes you smile too.

It's...something like that.

[ Because it's embarrassing to say how he feels upfront and where so many people can read it?! To just go and say it in this post how he feels about either of them took a lot of courage on his part already. Either way Shigeru is not going to comment. [And honestly, being the shameless person that he is, seeing Shigeru choose to cut off HERE of all places makes him just a little angry. Clearly the answer isn't something he'll like, or Shigeru would say it.]

You make me worry...a lot. But I love it when you're gentle and when you smile or laugh. [ How much more will he be able to type without just tossing his phone somewhere?! ]

I really want you to be happy so I...like doing things for you that aid in that. But I also...wonder what you see in someone like me, because of my phobia. I never thought you would...care but seeing you try so hard to help me means a lot. [ Is that good? That's more than good. He doesn't know if he can type anymore anyway. His face is so red and his hands are a little shaky too. ]

I definitely want to do whatever I can to keep them happy and safe. I do smile when I see them. Never got anxious though as far I can tell.

Oh, well, it's different for everyone I guess. I get anxious because I don't...want to mess anything up when we're together.

[ That is one way of putting it. For Shigeru it's more about his phobia getting in the way more than anything else. He doesn't want that ruining whatever moments he has with Genji or Dodger. ]

It's really hard for me sometimes to...do things. So I get anxious when I think I might mess something up. I want everything to be perfect.

Recently I've started wondering about that. Like not wanting to say something stupid.

Getting tongue tied with someone you like is really common, I think. [ Genji apparently has it happen all the time?! And Shigeru knows it's hard for him to think of what to say too. ]

Do you...ever have the urge to kiss them? That is something else too.

That definitely counts towards having other feelings towards them then. And by what you said earlier together those are definitely some signs of being attracted to them.
