So here is a question: How would someone know that they like someone? Not just as a friend, but as more.
I've dated before, but this... this is different than that.

He considered Lola...
So now he had to make an effort to type differently. He was a lazy texter, so if he did this like writing properly, maybe it would be harder to tell who he was.]
How is it different?

TEXT » un: 2cool
Can you feel your heart jump for joy when you look them in the eyes? Does every breath they take.. take *your* breath away? Do you feel, as if, your souls are embraced even when you are far apart? When they are gone, are you sad but when they are near, it feels like the warmth of sunshine? Are they more precious to you than anything else in this world?
If so, it is a beautiful thing called *amour.*
[ please don't listen to him he hasn't properly dated anyone in his life. ]

If you heart leaps out of your chest every time you see them and your palms get sweaty from being anxious but for a good reason. I guess if you want to do whatever you can to make them happy and keep them safe is another way of knowing. When just seeing them smile makes you smile too.
It's...something like that.
[ He has all of these symptoms so he figures that's how it goes. He's in so deep though so it might be different for Shiro. ]

Do you feel the same about anyone else?

If seeing them happy means as much or more to you than anything you've ever wanted for yourself, it's likely.

You didn't realize it until later? So you weren't sure either?

It is a mystery. ]
Easy answer:
Let's say something cool happens. Or something really shitty happens. Or something kinda funny, kinda interesting, kinda whatever.
If your first instinct is, "I gotta tell this person," then congratulations. You're in like.
[ As opposed to "in love," which is another matter entirely. ]
Even easier answer, though:
If you have to ask, then you probably already know the answer.
[ Duh. ]
anon text
I have thought that before.
So you think because I asked, the answer is already there?

Well, that's for when you're in love. Are you considering that too?

I've never heard this description before. I guess they kind of do.
That is what I am considering yes.

re: thinking about them all the time
feeling extra excited when they smile at you or laugh at one of your jokes
but like friendship can be sappy in its own way too
all that stuff about killing for people or feeling calm around them or wanting to make 'em happy?
all of that can be friend stuff, tbh
really intense friend stuff but still friend stuff
imho the deciding factor is how bad you want to bone them
cuz i love all my friends, but i spend 0 minutes a day thinking about having sex with them
i know this sounds crude compared to everybody else in the comments but seriously
if you've got a friend and you start noticing way more when they touch you?
or thinking about how it would feel to run your hands through their hair or kiss their neck or whatever you're into?
that's a hint!
i'm just saying!
anon text
That would be a way to tell.
For some people they might consider that a reason.
[Read: Not the kind of person to think that way]
Maybe its crossed my mind what it would be like to run my hand through this person's hair

I do not know your situation, but just asking a question about it makes me think you already like them.
