So here is a question: How would someone know that they like someone? Not just as a friend, but as more.
I've dated before, but this... this is different than that.

It is a mystery. ]
Easy answer:
Let's say something cool happens. Or something really shitty happens. Or something kinda funny, kinda interesting, kinda whatever.
If your first instinct is, "I gotta tell this person," then congratulations. You're in like.
[ As opposed to "in love," which is another matter entirely. ]
Even easier answer, though:
If you have to ask, then you probably already know the answer.
[ Duh. ]

I have thought that before.
So you think because I asked, the answer is already there?

I guess it depends on what you mean by this feeling "different" than dating, or whatever.

I don't know if that makes sense.

Not in the slightest.
[ Sorry, anon. ]
Like, how is it different? Do birds suddenly appear every they're near? Do you feel the earth move under your feet? What?

It's sooner than it has been before and I've started to feel that when I see this person that some of the issues I have go away. Like they understand.

At the very least, he can help someone else try to shave weeks and weeks off their own time, or something. ]
Fact of the matter is, if you have to wonder, “Do I like this person?” then your answer is probably gonna be yes. ‘Cause it’s like, if you’ve never felt this way about anyone before, if they make you feel different – in a great way, not just a good way – then, yeah. You’ve probably got something there.

Yeah, they do make it better in a great way. Guess I have something then. Since the thought that I like this person has crossed my mind recently.
Thanks
