So here is a question: How would someone know that they like someone? Not just as a friend, but as more.

I've dated before, but this... this is different than that.

It is actually a bit more complex. But if you spend time thinking about being with that person then there is a big chance that you like them.

It's better than others I could picture. I suppose I need to figure out what to do now. I don't know if they feel the same way back.

Talking to them isn't the only option but it is preferable. Hearing rumors about themselves from the others could make them suspicious of you or put them off.

I don't intend to do that. I wouldn't want someone talking about me so I won't do the same to them.
