I don't think I want to, either, but... well, without him here, I don't really have to worry about it, yet.

[He gave Red a knowing look, and Red just stared back with something of a mental shrug in Keith's direction.

But, she was curious. She glanced at Black again, and then back at Keith. Unlike the Black Lion, she was less patient, and wasn't about to sit there and bide her time. Texting?

Keith blinked, and then smirked a little. Knowing Shiro didn't have a link with her, he nodded.]

We'll see.

[He purposefully left that vague, and then pulled out his communicator. He noted the lack of a response from his last message. So he typed something out, and hit send.]

have u considered just talking to her

[He didn't bother trying to disguise who he was this time. He smirked a little more, and then glanced towards Shiro as the other communicator chirped that it received a message.]

We'll see?

[Then he saw Keith take out his phone and start typing. Then his phone chirped. Yep, Keith had juuuuust texted him he knew it. And chances are Keith knew it too. Black had connected them after all so he had proof so at this point, Shiro didn't even really hide it, pulling out his communicator and typing]

Where's the fun in that? :-|

[Only because he knows if it is Keith, he'll definitely ask what that is or react in someway to it that he can see]

[Oh, he reacted alright. Keith pulled back from his communicator and then stared at it for a moment, tilting his head slightly, and then turning the device a few different ways.]

Okay... what is that?

[No point in pretending now.]

[Yeah so there's no secret anymore and he couldn't help a chuckle]

[Keith quirked an eyebrow.]

If this was from Lance, I might have thought something else.

[He sent back another message. It was simply an emoji.]

There's only so much you can do with text characters. And no, that's not what this.

[Then he gets the text from Keith]

That is also a caterpillar.

[Keith just smirked.]

Alright, so... what's going on?

[He leaned on the counter, looking at Shiro.]

Who's this person you're all nervous about?

[Welp, he couldn't hide it anymore especially with Keith standing there smirking at him. Man, it was hard keeping secrets from nosy ~~brothers~~ teammates]

Take a wild guess. A certain girl who is into video games and has a mech.

Well, it's easy if you're going to give me hints like that.

[Keith smiled a bit.]

So...? Are you gonna ask her?

Well, you would have found out anyway so no point in hiding it.

I guess... at some point. I just... haven't thought about something like this for such a long time.

[Keith shrugged a little at the first part, but then got serious as Shiro continued.]

No, I'd imagine not.

Still, that doesn't mean you can't.

[But, wanting to keep things a little lighter, he added:]

Though, if you do, that means I get to give you two back the lecture you gave me and Lola.

I know it doesn't. But I still worry.

[He had problems. How could someone love him when he had these terrible issues? He wondered if someone could see past that and actually like him.

But Keith's comment did bring a faint smile to his face]

So you're going to lecture me about it?

[What was Keith, chopped liver? Shiro, let yourself be loved! But the lecture comment got Keith to smirk.]

Of course. It's only fair to get you back.

[But you're different, Keith. You already know more about the problems he has than anyone else here]

I'd like to see you try and lecture.

[Keith just smirked.]

Don't tempt me to make it worse.

[Shiro just looked at Keith with a serious expression. This kid wasn't bluffing]

Well, then I guess if I do tell her, I'm going to have to hide it from you.

[Is he serious or joking... hard to tell sometimes]

Like you did so well hiding that you were asking on the network about what people thought as far as asking her out.

[Keith smirked a little.]

The Lions talk, you know.

I did fine until the lions started talking.

[Black now choose that moment to walk over and sit down looking at Shiro. All of the judging, Shiro, all of it]

Don't look at me like that.

[Yeah, like that was going to work. Black is unmoved]

[That actually got a small laugh out of Keith.]

Looks like you've been pegged.

[Keith walked over now, and sat down next to Shiro on the couch.]

I think it'll be fine. If you like, just ask her to hang out or something. Maybe it'll work from there.

[This coming from the kid who's girlfriend hung out in his room in lingerie to make him notice she wanted more from their relationship.]

Yeah, looks like they do.

[Shiro leans over to nudge Black as if trying to make him move. Yeah, that had absolutely no effect. Lion still sits there. Still judges]

I guess that could work. Just need to figure out what we'd do.

You could start with the obvious and easy, and take her out to the arcade. Followed by dinner?

[Keith shrugged. It was pretty obvious Hana was a big gamer.]

Well, we've kind of already... done that. But it wasn't a date. It was an adventure.

[Right, like that really meant something]

[Keith lifted both eyebrows slightly, his eyes narrowing a bit as his lips pursed in thought.]

An 'adventure'.

[Okay, then.]

What did you do other than the arcade?

Grabbed a snack. Went to the observatory and looked at the stars.

[Read: it was a date but neither Shiro or Hana wanted to call it that]

[Keith stared at him for a second. He might not be an expert on this, but that sounded an awful lot like a date.]
