So...[The audio was the first to turn on, and Lucy figures it out when she sees her screen is dark. She quickly changes it to video, looking at the camera, unsure of what she's doing but she has to try. The network gets to see a young girl who looks unsure, but trying to be brave at this moment. A lot has been on her mind, but she needs to figure this place out first.

To some, she may carry certain characteristics of another young person from a long time ago..or recent.]

I can't say this is cool or not, we're on a moon and there aren't any flying cars but...

Anyone here know of Snow White? Or...The Evil Queen? And if they're here...maybe, point me in their direction?

[Is she being serious? The look on her face says yes. She needs to find people she can trust, and hopefully not be placed in a group home.]

A bar? [he can't help snorting just a little bit. Sorry, Lucy, but it's a strange image for him after all his years of knowing Regina]

How about this: if she shows up and thinks she's Roni, I'll do what I can to try convincing her of her other life.

[...What's so funny about that? Really, could you clue her in please?]

You can try...I tried, and what I've tried hasn't worked. [So...how the curse gets broken is anyone's guess.]

....You mean like, the shots you can drink?

[jolting]

[welp, he's not sure how she made that leap, but it amuses him] It's an expression. I'm saying it's worth trying.

[Because Regina/Roni owns a bar. She pours shots. She thought it was a shot at what Regina was doing now.]

Oh...okay. Well...you can try. You might have better than me.

Maybe. I've known her since she was a teenager.

[Oh? That she didn't know!]

Really? I don't know much of her life before the curse. I mean..it was mentioned in her story, but I can't remember much of it. Not without my book.

[jolting]

Your book being the same one Henry had at your age?

[A nod of her head.]

Yes, the same one. I only saw it recently, but before that, I had my own book that was different.

[jolting]

Well, I'm not in Henry's book, so the part where I met Regina wouldn't have been in there anyway.

[Well...that is true!]

Oh...well...how did you meet her? Were you... [She looks at him with a tilt of her head.]

...Dating?

[jolting]

Uh, no. Definitely not. It was a professional call. My particular skills don't exist in any other world.

[There's a somewhat short sigh of relief. Because...that would be weird to be around an old boyfriend of her grandmother's...]

What kind of skills do you have? Like...action hero type skills where you could saved kidnapped people? Or...magical ones?

[jolting]

The necromancy kind. Doctor Frankenstein.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

[She moves to stand in front of him, staring at him not in horror, but in utter surprise.]

You're the Doctor Frankenstein?

[Of course Regina went to him! To try and get her first love's heart back, to bring him back from the dead! Okay, he got ten times cooler in her eyes.]

I didn't think your world was real--I mean, I should've known, but did you use a magic bean to meet Regina or--how? How did you two meet?

[jolting]

[finally someone appreciates him. He likes you so much more now, Lucy]

Jefferson. He's a portal-jumper, so he used that power to jump me from my world to theirs.

Jefferson??

[The name doesn't ring a bell for her either. Really, with a big book like the one that Henry had, there are a lot of stories to cover.]

I only thought you could go from one world to the next with a magic bean or...a lot of magic.

That's so cool!

[jolting]

Mm. He became known as the Mad Hatter.

[he shrugs] I guess the hat carried a lot of magic, then. I never really examined the mechanics of it.

The Mad Hatter? From Alice in Wonderland?

[Just trying to get everything straight in her mind, because wow. The Mad Hatter? He was mentioned a handful of times, but after a while, he wasn't mentioned at all. Regina sure knew a lot of people.]

So he travels with his hat rather than through a door or a looking glass? [And now she wants to reread his story, assuming they can find the same book Henry had...or something similar.]

[jolting]

Doors and looking glasses are certainly acceptable portals to other worlds. I think his hat acts like a train station of sorts. It's a link between all the different worlds.

[look at him trying to explain how a magical hat works]

[And Lucy is going to take it all in. She doesn't get to talk about this anymore, not since the curse. It's comforting and fun.]

So...is his hat like...[Gosh, what's her name? The nanny who had a bag that seemingly never ending? Mary...something.] Is his hat it's own dimension?

[jolting]

[funny thing is, he hasn't really talked about his own experiences with magic before now. Ruby was the only one he really confided in, and he hadn't seen her in a long time. It's really nice to talk about this stuff]

That's an excellent way of phrasing it, Lucy. It is like its own dimension, and when you're inside it feels like you're nowhere and everywhere at the same time.

But..how do you get into his hat? Do you shrink down or does it get bigger?

[To anyone else walking by or passing them, it would sound like they're talking nonsense, but it makes perfect sense to them.]

What other worlds have you been to?

[jolting]

He spins it on the ground and it creates a whirlwind. You just jump in.

Hm. Well, there's the one I was born in, there's the Enchanted Forest, Storybrooke, here... That's four.
