I feel like my first words to the multiverse should be something big and important but I've been staring at the screen for a while now so I'm just gonna stick to the basics.

Hi. I'm Dave.

I got here a few days ago. I was assigned to what I'm gonna call the nerd unit in the Perimeter Guard, which means I should be developing stuff to make the rest of the Guard's life easier. I've been reading a lot and kept an eye on the network but-- you know, at the end of the day, it's easier to go to the sources and just ask people what they need based on their experience, so...

Yeah. What do you need? What kind of problems have you encountered on the other side of the wall? What weak spots should we be working on to improve? Do people go out there a lot? I mean more like, REALLY deep in the jungle. (Or forest, or valley, or whatever it is. Probably defies definition.)

Because not gonna lie, guys, I though I would see a bunch of drones on the wall. How come we don't have an army of drones already?

Just the one shuttle for now, but we go pretty deep in the jungle, and well beyond it, as well as outside the atmosphere. Just about anywhere you can think of all over the moon.

And actually, I run the aerial survey branch.

...oh. Nice to meet you. Sorry if it seemed like I was getting in your area. Can I ask why just one shuttle for now?

That's alright. Last I checked, you're free to ask whatever questions you want.

We've only found one shuttle beyond the wall so far. Unless you have a few parked elsewhere around the Quarantine, in which case, please do let me know. They'd be welcome additions.

Man, I WISH. I thought it was given or the government or something. But if you found it out there, then it means we could find more, right? Does the shuttle only have one probe too?

I wouldn't discard that possibility. It's one of the things I've been keeping an eye out whenever I fly around the moon. But there's also the chance that this one shuttle crashed and was left behind during the construction of the Abandoned City, or the Quarantine.

For now, yes. Probes are easier to build from scratch though, especially if we use the original model as basis for comparison. Plenty of genius minds among us, I'm sure they could put one or two more together.
