At home, sometimes I thought that I'd really like to get a break from my family. The town I'm from isn't so great and well a lot of bad things were happening. I got mad at my dad a lot because it felt like I couldn't depend on him or any adult to care or help with the things that were happening. We ended up not needing the adults but it sucked.

I guess, it wasn't perfect at home but now that I'm here and my family isn't I really miss them. I wouldn't think I could miss them this bad. I miss going to the Synagogue and my dad making me study Hebrew. I always thought it was really annoying and boring.

Do you miss anything that you don't have here that you didn't think you could ever miss?

Is there anything that helps?

Yeah, and if it can be broken at all.

I mean, curses have been broken before but this time it's different.

Because the two people who need to break it aren't together.

I don't know. I thought they could fall in love again...but I was wrong.

I still want to believe in them, but...it's...hard.

No, no one else will. Everyone thinks my stories are just...stories. That the curse isn't real.

And you're sure you're right?

Then you have to believe in them don't you?

No one else has said anything about it, except one person who...placed the curse.

I do, but it's...difficult. Very difficult right now.

Yeah. I think believing anything is pretty hard.

Believing was the easier part, it's harder when it's put to the rest.

I think it sucks to believe in something that you don't think you can do anything about.

It does suck...a whole lot.

But, I don't want to talk about it anymore.

If you miss studying Hebrew, you could go to the library. I know it's not the same, but it's at least something familiar.

[ Stan can definitely understand that. He's the master of not wanting to talk about the things that bother him. ]

That's true. I guess I could try. Sometimes it's just hard without help. But I guess if I study enough maybe it'll get easier.

It should get easier, and you could always ask around to see if anyone else knows Hebrew.

Or find a study partner.

Maybe...That feels like a long shot.

A lot of people don't even know what a Jew is...

Do you think there's anyone that'd want to learn Hebrew too?

You never know until you ask!

I mean, there's gotta be someone here that's from a similar world as you and should know something, or be willing to learn.

Maybe someone...but he's more into the sciences and stuff, but I could still ask if you like.
