I've never seen so many animals in all my life. Where I'm from, there's no wildlife. None. This place is amazing. [ playing the part. be calm, paige. you'll find your way.] Although, I'm feeling wobbly as a mother Gorgybird.

[ it's the best thing she can think to say, that might attract the attention of anyone in the Resistance. it's not quite the most accurate signal but it's good enough for this situation.]

I'll talk to Finn and Poe about it. See if it can be tonight or the following night. The first day is usually frustrating and overwhelming all at once.

So she knows how to fix up any of the ships at the Resistance?

It's my second day, technically. So I've had some time to adjust, I guess.

All of them, actually. She knows just about everything about fixing all the ships. She's a genius.

I think it takes more time than that, but at least there are some people here from our world. It helps with things.

Good to know, maybe one day I'll meet her. I've studied some of the ships from Rebellion and from the Empire.

I would be surprised if it took less time.

Are you a pilot?

Yes, self taught. I'm also a scavenger, and astromech if I need to be.

That's impressive. My mother taught me.

Plutt, the person in charge of Niima Outpost, gave more portions for parts that actually worked. Spent a lot of time around old TIE fighters, X-Wings, and Imperial ships to pick up a few things.

And there was an old computer in my home that I ran flight simulations on. Had to do something during sand storms.

Do you fly here? What do you do to pass the time?

I'm part of the Perimeter Guard in the Aerial Division. I fly the shuttle when needed.

As for here....I work for the most part. I don't know what else to do, but I find time to be around friends. There's people here whose home worlds haven't discovered inter-planetary travel yet.
