What do you do...when you know there's no way to really change anything in your future? Knowing that something bad is going to happen to you and you might change into something you fear.

[ Of course even if it weren't for the alternate reality fiasco he'd changed into a monster before back home. He feels...so hopeless in not turning into a horrifying monster here that he's not sure what to do. Especially after what happened recently at the light festival. ]

Even if you prepare for it as best as you can... [ there's just no way a phrobiest can ever outrun turning into a monster, is there? Or...perhaps there is here. Which was the main point of all of this in the first place. ]

I'd like to ask if anyone has a power suppression collar, or something that can aid in power suppression. I'd be really grateful if you could message me about it.

[ Aoba can understand why he'd want to avoid making people worry. But also, there are a few warning flags that he can't ignore either. ]

What I mean is

When that person loses control, do they hit you? Yell at you?

[ Shigeru pauses as he reads that. It's not...like that. Well not usually. It's happened before but...not since recently. ]

He yells, but he doesn't hit me. This just happened because we got into an argument.

[ He also says some pretty mean things but Shigeru doesn't mention that. This was just an argument bad enough that Dodger almost killed him. But none of this is...good either. And it's not making his case any better, is it? ]

But I'm really okay. I...I didn't help matters doing what I did either. [ But only because Dodger pushed him to his limit. ]

Scolding isn't necessarily bad, but I don't understand how someone like Shigeru-san, who can so calmly care for the wounded when a fire broke out in the apartments...

How can someone like this lose control? It tells me that Shigeru-san is under a lot of stress.

[ He probably shouldn't get involved, but... Shigeru is a friend. He's got enough problems and he's... worried. ]

[ It is stressful...a lot of it is due to stress and weariness and other things. Dodger getting on his case about Genji all the time is one of the main stressors in his life, it's true. But he's doing better with managing it. ]

I'm fine, Aoba. I am stressed. But I...I meditate and that helps a great deal.
