Good evening. I know I may be overstepping my bounds, but I was wondering if anyone else might have heard a disturbing rumor flying about the quarantine regarding some...beetles of unusual size that are, if the terrified gossipers are to be believed, heading straight for us?

I'll save my opinions on the continued existence of over-sized insects for the time-being and simply suggest we do something about it before we're all trampled into beetle dust. Any takers?

I was the leader of my team back on Earth. However, here, I haven't encountered the animals before

Aside from that, my abilities aren't at their peak as they were back down so my options are rather limited. Currently, I can wield basic ice, thunder and healing spells, and basic defense. I will need a while until I'm a polished fighter again.

Well, I've never met an insect that valued electrocution, so you may suffice. (And by the sound of his voice, he's smiling.) My plan, of course, was to simply set them aflame, but the means of death and/or dismemberment is negotiable, of course. Healing, on the other hand, is always useful.

I, as it were, have also avoided any conflict with the local fauna. Perhaps we should have been more prudent?

I am currently lacking in personas that wield fire spells, but hopefully, I can do something about it after more intensive training.

The only animals I was in contact with were cats and fish from the local river, but those hardly count as dangerous. So yes, perhaps a little more interest in the local wildlife would help us the long way.

Personas? (The question is more to himself than to Yu. He's making a mental note to ask about them when they aren't facing destruction by beetle.)

Well, I wish you luck in that regard. (And he chuckles.) Never underestimate the dangers of a house cat, but you a good point. I'll see what the library has on the topic.

Well, it depends on the heads, but I think we'll manage well enough.

But yes, he easily knows what Dorian means. It's usually the reason why people dislike cats in the first place.]

Well, I came to realize that even slow on the uptake people can contribute to the cause. Sometimes, some of my friends would say something and it would give me an idea. Of course, it would be great if that were to happen more often, haha.
