[The feed opens with a huffy looking Laura, sitting in front of the screen like it's a PSA announcement or some such — and judging from the glancing up at what must assuredly be a teacher, it's exactly that. Or something. She scowls at the camera again before looking down at the paper held in her dainty little hands that have totally never hurt anyone ever, no sir. She reads it blankly, and it's very clearly she's the worst podium speaker in the entire universe:]

I have agreed.... to read aloud, so that I will not be suspended for the week.

I would like to formally apologize for anyone I have ever stabbed, kicked, punched, or bitten... It was not my intention to hurt anyone and I will try my best from this point on to control my temper, both — in the complex and at school. [She wrinkles her nose, looks deadpan at the camera, and continues.] I am sorry to Tabitha for shoving her nose in the grass during recess. Even if it was because she was being unkind to another student, it does not give me the right to use... 'force'.

And I am sorry for using... Spanish expletives toward Jared, and hitting him in the throat with his own backpack. Even if he was being rude, it does not... excuse violence. [She looks so annoyed, save her.] From this point on, I will do my best to stay in school... for the whole school day. I will try not to leave past the wall.

[She puts the paper on the desk, calmly.]

... And I will not steal the chocolate milk from the cafeteria anymore.

[More gravely:]

But if Susan insults my accent ever again, I will shove her into the trash ca—

[huh the feed ended suddenly how about that

... she's in detention now]

Wanna do something, away from people who don't speak Spanish?

*Lola 'does not like kids' Pacini of course is invested in a small child who is a native Spanish speaker being bullied by jerk kids.*

But you should probably not attack people, if you can avoid it.

I do not mean to, at first. I... 'escalate the situation' when they don't listen.

There's a theater that does films in Spanish, and a few restaurants where everyone speaks Spanish. But one of them only does Thai food.

I don't get it either.

*Well, that doesn't really surprise Lola, from what she knows about Laura.*

Oh, yeah, getting really mad can do that. I just yell at people though. Although I'm kinda surprised people keep messing with you when you're really dangerous.

... I don't know what Thai food is, but I like food anyway.

[So that place is still A+ to her. She deflates a little, though, frowning.]

... I don't try to be, most of the time. I don't want to be the dangerous one.

[That sense of justice and karma, man.]

It's good, you'll enjoy it.

*Lola listens. She's good for that. Although not everything she can get.*

I know, people are mean and it just gets to you. Sometimes you want to get all of them to stop it and be nice to each other.

[A nod.]

I'm used to children being... unified. Against other threats.

Not each other.

You're used to something very different from most schools.

You could try getting everyone on the same page to work together.

*Pause. Considers what she suggested.*

Not the cause of putting Susan in a trashcan.

But it is very tempting.

[Putting people in trash cans, that is.]

I could try... I can't promise. I would rather... the kids work together.

I know it is.

*It doesn't fix things, no matter how tempting.*

Trying is all anyone can ask for.

[It's nice, to have such good amigas around. You know?]

*Lola didn't like people being in turmoil, if she could do something. Even if she might be better off staying out of it.*
