[The feed opens with a huffy looking Laura, sitting in front of the screen like it's a PSA announcement or some such — and judging from the glancing up at what must assuredly be a teacher, it's exactly that. Or something. She scowls at the camera again before looking down at the paper held in her dainty little hands that have totally never hurt anyone ever, no sir. She reads it blankly, and it's very clearly she's the worst podium speaker in the entire universe:]

I have agreed.... to read aloud, so that I will not be suspended for the week.

I would like to formally apologize for anyone I have ever stabbed, kicked, punched, or bitten... It was not my intention to hurt anyone and I will try my best from this point on to control my temper, both — in the complex and at school. [She wrinkles her nose, looks deadpan at the camera, and continues.] I am sorry to Tabitha for shoving her nose in the grass during recess. Even if it was because she was being unkind to another student, it does not give me the right to use... 'force'.

And I am sorry for using... Spanish expletives toward Jared, and hitting him in the throat with his own backpack. Even if he was being rude, it does not... excuse violence. [She looks so annoyed, save her.] From this point on, I will do my best to stay in school... for the whole school day. I will try not to leave past the wall.

[She puts the paper on the desk, calmly.]

... And I will not steal the chocolate milk from the cafeteria anymore.

[More gravely:]

But if Susan insults my accent ever again, I will shove her into the trash ca—

[huh the feed ended suddenly how about that

... she's in detention now]

*Lola 'does not like kids' Pacini of course is invested in a small child who is a native Spanish speaker being bullied by jerk kids.*

But you should probably not attack people, if you can avoid it.

[ There's nothing wrong with this kid's accent and he knows children can be little bastards when they want to. ]

[From the goggles pushed up to the top of his head, Tony's been hard at work, but he can't not respond to such a helpful PSA.

He's trying not to look amused, he really is.]

So you've been busy.

[Well, hearing all of that is both impressive and a bit scary. Laura seemed nice though...and now Lucy is making a mental note to not cross her.]

...The teachers shouldn't be upset if you were trying to keep another student from picking on someone else.

Susan shouldn't insult your accent, it's nice. And she's mean, and other...words I can't really use.

You shouldn't have to apologize for any of that. They clearly deserved it.

[ He sounds... pretty emphatic about that, like, calm down, Kylo. But seriously, whoever made her read that apology is A FOOL. ]

[ He frowns slightly. The education of mortals is weird. ]

You got caught?

Sounds to me like the trick is not getting caught.

[ AKA: they deserved it. ]

[What is even happening here? Eleven stares. And then stares some more. If this is what school is like, she's definitely not going to keep going. Kids are mean to her too, and make fun of her because she's quiet and weird. She's also drinking a chocolate milk that she definitely stole from the cafeteria, and clutches onto it a little tighter. ]

Susan is a mouth breather.

[Maybe. She's not sure about that. It's just the only insult she knows to call people that are mean or bad.]

I can shove her without being caught.

[You know. In the name of making friends.]

It sounds to me like Susan deserved what she got. Jared as well.

[Ciel looks amused, chin resting on his hand in his office at Funtom Toy's and Candy.]

Never leave past the wall ever again, or just during the school day?

[She doesn't strike him as the type to be comfortable in the confines of the city. Just going to switch this to private, so whoever is making her do this isn't aware unless they're looking over her shoulder when she gets the message.]

Sticking up for other students isn't a crime, kid. Were the teachers not doing anything about it?

[Oh lord. He's struggling between feeling amused and outraged that she's been made to do this when clearly she's only been looking out for herself. Where are the videos from the other children involved? And the insults...yeah no.]

You have every right to defend yourself against bullies. It just sounds like your problem might lay in excessive use of force. Throat punching someone with a backpack, for example, while effective, isn't usually necessary for someone being rude. [Although it depends on how rude. Still he has to try and be a good role model here.]

But if anyone ever threatens you with physical violence, you have my permission to use as much force as necessary.

[Link was surprised to see such a young person on the video feed, and he watched curiously as the girl read from the paper, looking more pained and annoyed as she continued. He knew he shouldn't be amused, but he couldn't deny that a part of him was.]

I can see why you'd be mad, and I think it's good to try and stand up to others, but maybe violence shouldn't be your first choice. Did you try just telling those kids to stop first?

[As a knight, Link would have been taught that there was a time and place to use violence. Despite his memory loss, he still held to those principles.]
