[ it's late, but the stars are shining and the moon is big enough to reveal that nico is once again in the graveyard, sitting atop a gravestone as he munches some fries. his legs swing back and forth. with his mouth full, he pauses and regards the feed. ]

I've been doing a lot of thinking. Mostly about the future. So we're stuck here for five years, right? How many people are planning on staying after that? If so, why?

I mean... [ another bite of fries and he swallows this time before continuing. ] What do people miss the most about their original homes and is it enough to want to go back? If there was one thing about this place that could make you stay, what would it be?

I dunno. Anyway- Loki, I need to make sure I have Wednesday night off. And Jason, I need some advice. Also, Ed, I have a few questions about your alchemy.

[ huffing a little at being called pipsqueak, he nods and follows after jason. ]

So... his name is TJ and he's like, really attractive. I want to look really good for when we get together.

[ He spoke with a shrug, granted he'd never use any of the all-caste skills on Nico. Nico was a friend not a threat to humanity. Jason walked along, running a hand through his hair.]

[ likewise, nico would never rip jason's soul out like he had to bryce. the thought makes him shudder and he shoves his hands in his pockets. ]

I know, but I kind of want to, y'know. We made out at Trixie when we went dancing, so I'm hoping I'll get to see more of him. If you know what I mean.

[ because he genuinely likes tj, but also because it would be a distraction from thinking any more about everything that'd happened with loki. ]

[ He stops and looks between a trendy hipsterish store, and the leather shop he had been avoiding forever. A slight dusting of pink spreads across his cheeks enough to make his light freckles stand out.]

Leather shop, you need leather pants with that. And a good jacket, no one can resist a guy in leather.

[ Says the man wearing leather.]

[ at the mention of leather, nico's brows raise. sure, his bomber jacket is leather, but that's about all he owns when it comes to leather goods. still, he has to admit that jason does look good in leather ( what, he has eyes ), and that he's a bit curious as to how he'll look. ]

Me, in leather? Are you sure I won't look stupid?

I was your size when I started wearing more than leather jackets, trust me, you'll turn heads.

[ Jason doesn't mind being checked out by anyone. Unless he's working, then it's a problem.

Leading Nico on inside he moves towards the discount rack first.]

Be prepared to be sticker shocked, good leather is always expensive.

[ following along, he glances around him in interest, curious as to what jason might pick out. he's not worried about money. ]

Despite everything, Loki actually pays me really well, so whatever the prices are is fine.

[ Jason spoke looking up from the rack, before nodding moving from discount to better stuff. tossing Nico a pair that might be a little big on him since Jason doesn't actually know his size. ]

[ He takes another drink of his coffee before thumbing through looking for another pair.]

[ holding the pants up again, he considers them. okay, so they're not hideous, but he still feels like they're a bit much. ]

[ Jason holds out another pair, this one is shinier but no ties outside of laces instead of a zipper. ]

Try these to, they may be tight but that's good.

[ shiny, he can deal with. maybe not so much the laces. so he puts back the first pair and takes the newly offered. ]

That is good. I want to show off my assets.

[ He couldn't help a laugh before pointing back to the dressing room.]

Boots and a jacket come next is those look good.

[ and he tromps off to the dressing room. it takes a bit of wiggling to get into the damn things and he can't help but think they'd be hell to fight in, but when he gets them on... he looks at himself in the mirror and appreciates the view. ]

I'm coming out. Don't laugh!

[ Jason was checking his messages when Nico called out, slipping the phone in his jacket he looked up and grins.]

[ Because he would laugh if he wanted. Looking over Nico when he stepped out he nodded a bit.]

Okay, walk and turn like it's a cat walk.

[ still, he strikes a pose and then walks back and forth in the pants. they're a bit stiff, but not horribly so. ]

They look good, I'd wear them, but how do you feel in them? To tight?

Definitely not that.

[ rolls his eyes, shifting on his feet as he turns around and bends over, testing the flexibility. ]

They're not bad. I think I can manage. I just hope I don't end up having to fight in them.

[ He pulled his phone out and then pulled up a picture Nico's way.]

And you see bending that way will definitely be a winner in those pants. As for fighting in them, you get used to it.

[ but definitely not his type, so he hands the phone back and looks down at the pants again. ]

[ He nods, he knows Kori is a bombshell, she's been on his only-a-friend list since she shacked up with Roy, then left them both with no further contact.]

Good they flatter you, now we need to find you a good jacket and some killer boots.

[ He didn't even leave the shop, just moved to the other side. He didn't have to look hard to find the jacket he considered perfect, black sleek and perfectly suited for Nico as he held it over and looked down to Nico's shoes. ] There is a shoe store a few down.

[ after taking the jacket and paying for the new clothes, he follows jason outside the store. ]
