I guess this is a second introduction. Mostly because I just joined the Perimeter Guard. So, I'm Makoto Yuuki, I was the leader of S.E.E.S. at Gekkoukan High School, a specialized combat squad.

I'll be glad to give an example of my skills but it's really not for the faint of heart. I know that anyone who goes into combat though should have an idea of what to expect from me and my Persona's.

[True! He does wish he could share takoyaki with wing, as a cultural exchange but...] I'd love that, actually. Music has always been kind of a big part of my life, I like hearing everything I can.

So, it's a deal then. We'll keep an eye out for instruments and everything for each other?

[That might be a bad idea, much as he doesn't want to think so!] I'll make that deal with you. If I can find something to use to imitate what music I know in my world, I'll share that with you if you share with me your own. I fear it may be one sided for a while, until I can find something suitable, but we'll make it work.

[Such a shame. He liked getting some after school back home.] That sounds perfect. I don't mind waiting a little while. Should we shake on it or something whenever we meet up?

[Head... tilt? He doesn't really understand that phrase, but he'll go with it.] I... suppose we can? I'm afraid I don't know what you mean by that. Something new you can show me?

[Right. Maybe he should have guessed that wouldn't translate over. In his defense though, the Velvet Room's inhabitants were closely related to humanity in a way.

Then again, Elizabeth had been kind of clueless about a lot. So he should know better, yeah.]

It's a thing humans do. We'll shake hands when we meet people but sometimes, when you make an agreement, you shake hands as well to acknowledge it.

[He... looks down at his own hand and twists it lightly from side to side, then front to back.] How is it done? Like this? [He lifts his hand to the view to demonstrate.]

[Give Makoto a moment, he'll position his camera a little better.]

Like this. [He'll hold his right hand out a a bit and mime grasping someone else's hand before raising it and letting it drop a bit.] It's more common in other countries but people do it in Japan often enough.

[How interesting. It looks familiar enough for some of the gestures he has seen, but unique all the same.]

I see. Do you know why it is what it is? I'd like to find out. We have something like it, where we simply clasp hands, but no movement, normally only between good friends.

Hm... You know, I don't really know. I know back home, in Japan, we usually bow, but we have a lot of people visit from other countries. Sometimes bowing and handshakes get mixed together.

[Bowing, he recognizes.]

So far apart, and still so alike. I don't think that will cease to amaze me, seeing what we have in common despite the differences in our races. We have that as well, sometimes just a nod of the head or a bow from the... waist, I think it's called? Is that right?

Older people will bow just their head. The waist though, yeah, that's right. Among my people, a bow from the waist is considered much more respectful.

A bow to the waist for you, then. That sounds appropriate, since we're little more than acquaintances right now. Hopefully friends soon though. [He's always hopeful of that at least. The more, the better.]

Ah- I mean, if you'd like. I wouldn't hold any to those kinds of formalities. Especially someone as young as I am. [He definitely hopes they can become friends. Wing seems interesting.]

If that's what you want, I'll greet you any other way you see fit. Your age doesn't bother me, if that's a concern for you. In truth, I only care for who you are as a person. My race tends to live a long life, but for all I know yours may be the same.
