[ On camera, Eames can be seen sitting, holding a dark brown puppy that looks an awful lot like a pitbull. The puppy occasionally leans forward to bump her nose against the camera lens. ]

Say what you'd like about poor impulse control as I know some of you will, but I was sober when this happened.

[ He shrugs and the puppy yips, annoyed about being moved when he does it. ]

I do still, regrettably, need some help in terms of a name; I never have been good with giving them.

Mrs. O'leary is perfectly safe, for a hellhound. She's very gentle too, watch.

[ and he holds out his hand for the hellhound to tenderly settle her paw on. ]

See? She's very kind and wouldn't hurt a fly.

[ He mouths but doesn't audibly repeat hellhound. Somehow (given the last few weeks, that "somehow" is not guesswork) he thinks that's not an exaggeration.

Still, the idea of a dog that big acting the part of an overgrown labrador is more amusing than he can really reel in, so even his doubt is colored (and contradicted) by a half-laugh in his tone. ]

Ah, but does that only work for you?

Nope. She's not even actually mine. She belongs to a friend, but since she's showed up here, I've been taking care of her.
