[ So there's only so much training Aeacinos can do on his own, which is why you all get a video of a half human half snake man curled up and lounging near what appears to by the perimeter guard barracks. ]

Would anyone care for a spar? Weapons and magic are both acceptable to use. I feel myself restless without much to do in terms of fighting. It is strange to go so long without having a war to think about.

[ And his tail mimics his own thoughts on the matter, restless and...just impatient seeming. Though his expression turns thoughtful as he pauses to think on something. ]

Back at home I did not have many...hobbies either. So perhaps if you have any ideas on some that would be most appreciated. I am not sure what to really do to pass the time here. But fighting is always something that is enjoyable for me. I am curious to know what you all do to keep yourselves entertained here, if it is not too much trouble to speak of.

[ How many people is he going to get shit posted by...we just don't know. ]

I can spar with you. It's been quiet here so I haven't really done much since coming.

(This is possible a horrid idea considering his appearance and Noctis' past, but he'd already decided Aeacinos isn't a terrible person despite the resemblance.)

Video games are pretty fun if you find the right one. I really like to fish, though.

You wish to spar with me? [ After how he had reacted during their first meeting Aeacinos is both impressed and surprised. His expression conveys both as he leans forward a little, eyebrow quirked as he looks Noctis over. ]

Fishing is something I do naturally. I am a being of the water...born into it, fishing is...a way of life I suppose. Or it was. There are some good spots for it here at least. [ Though he does pause with an amused sort of look on features. ]

You are the second person to mention these video games.

[ Perhaps they were something worth trying out? ]

(Part ego, part truth, his statement doesn't hold the bias he worried would appear. The daemon that had changed his life hadn't spoken. Probably, she couldn't, but it felt to Noctis like her focus was solely on ending his life, not on conversation.)

I've found some really good fishing spots. If you know some more, tell me. I want to catch the biggest one possible.

(He also sales fish for a living, but that's secondary; he's making money doing what he loves.)

You have to find the right kind. Multiplayer games are the best.

Fishing spots? There are some good ones along the riverbank, as well as beyond the fence. The creatures there are rather big, if that is what you're looking for. [ Big enough to prove a challenge even for him. ]

Multiplayer? Hm. I assume you are allowed to fight against others here with those? [ He gets super competitive so he'd play with other people. ] And how does one go about playing these games?

(Is he as strong as a daemon? It's a question worth asking, but even if his pride allowed him to voice the inquiry, Aeacinos wouldn't know the term nor the creature he would be using for comparison.)


I've found the good ones by the river, that's where I've been fishing. I want to see the ones beyond the fence, though.

(The fence reminds him of the wall from home, but that doesn't keep him inside. He'd just been satisfied with what he'd found here for the moment.)

Fight against others or with them. You have teams, too.

You need an arcade or gaming machine. I play on my phone most of the time.

You are confident, I like that. It shows signs of a good warrior and that means a good fight. [ Which is what Aeacinos is all about tbh. His fanged grin is replaced with a curious look. ]

Then we will have to go. I will take you if you wish? [ He doesn't mind given how often he ventures out beyond the wall. ] It will be entertaining at least.

[ He'll rub his chin curiously at the terms. ] These phones have games on them too? Interesting. The screen is so small, how do you even manage to play on it? [ It's probably more interesting that Aeacinos knows what a phone is but...his world isn't barbaric of uncultured they have all sorts of technology there. ]

I have passed by the arcade but never went in. If I do so would you care to join me?

(It...kind of sounds like they have a lot in common, which still feels odd considering the snake-like appearance.)
