[ So there's only so much training Aeacinos can do on his own, which is why you all get a video of a half human half snake man curled up and lounging near what appears to by the perimeter guard barracks. ]

Would anyone care for a spar? Weapons and magic are both acceptable to use. I feel myself restless without much to do in terms of fighting. It is strange to go so long without having a war to think about.

[ And his tail mimics his own thoughts on the matter, restless and...just impatient seeming. Though his expression turns thoughtful as he pauses to think on something. ]

Back at home I did not have many...hobbies either. So perhaps if you have any ideas on some that would be most appreciated. I am not sure what to really do to pass the time here. But fighting is always something that is enjoyable for me. I am curious to know what you all do to keep yourselves entertained here, if it is not too much trouble to speak of.

Um, I'm not really into that, so to pass the time I usually listen to music or tinker with stuff. Maybe go out to eat...

Go out to eat? By yourself or with someone? [ He isn't big on dating, Aoba! But doing it with friends doesn't seem so bad, and he already eats out by himself anyway.

At the next suggestion he might let out a curious 'hm', arms crossing over his chest as he tilts his head curiously. ]

Video games. We have such things back home, but I never tried them myself. They seems a bit...mundane. But I suppose I may try them here. [ Though his might quirk a brow at the mentioning of fighting. ]

I see. I was not aware of such things. Perhaps I will have to try them then.

Hobbies are overrated. They distract from your duty and take up precious time better spent elsewhere. Does your work not keep you busy enough?

[She'll take you up on that sparring offer. Even though the snake bits are kind of freaking her out a bit. You'll only notice a slight twitch and her quick, skeptical glance at the tail, though.]

If you're looking to test your powers, I'm available. It's not easy finding worthy sparring partners here.

Eating? [ That's a new one to him, probably because he doesn't actually have to eat, but he enjoys food so he does it as a luxury. ]

Hm. Neither have I. I was made mainly to fight and that is all I have known. But being here...I suppose I may allow myself to learn something new.

[ Interesting. He knows of them in his world but he's never exactly spoken to one before. ]

Water, ice and illusion magic. I am also able to shapeshift. And may I ask what stories you have collected? Are there any from here that have piqued your interest?

[ He honestly doesn't seem surprised at all by this?! The haircut or Dodger calling him up at midnight. Luckily Aeacinos doesn't need much sleep but he's amused when he answers. He's lounging in what appears to be the riverbank. It's easier to just take a swim when no one is around than to use the public pools for it. ]

At this time of night? Do you not need to sleep or rest? [ He sounds amused as his tail flicks behind him. Dodger is a pretty interesting man and their past two encounters weren't terrible either. So he figures there's no harm in it. Whether or not this ends in sex is not an issue either but Aeacinos doesn't mind either way. ]

And where would you like to spar?

I can spar with you. It's been quiet here so I haven't really done much since coming.

(This is possible a horrid idea considering his appearance and Noctis' past, but he'd already decided Aeacinos isn't a terrible person despite the resemblance.)

Video games are pretty fun if you find the right one. I really like to fish, though.

It is a better way to pass the time at least. [ He looks amused as he finally gets out of the water, naked with his scarred skin showing as he goes to put on his robe. ]

My place is in the community housing, it a bit cramped for a fight. [ The way Aeacinos fights...it would probably destroy the floors above and below his apartment so it's more ideal to do it outdoors. ]

Near the barracks would be ideal. Or by the riverbank.

[ Though he makes no promises not to use the water around him as an unfair advantage. ]

[He considers it for a moment... he doesn't want to go back to the riverbank, but he does like the idea of seeing the snake in the water again. There's something very sultry about that image.]

I'll meet you by the riverbank... shouldn't be too hard to track you down.

[And within twenty minutes, he's teleported onto one of the docks. At least it's not the same spot as he lost his skin in.. but the familiar scenery is still a little unnerving.]

[ And in the water he shall be, given how long it takes Dodger to show. It's all pretty silent when Dodger arrives and Aeacinos doesn't appear to be around.

He was beginning to wonder if the other had gotten cold feet. But his thoughts are proven wrong once he sees Dodger from beneath the water's surface. He'll swim up to the top coming out of the water with a huff as he moves closer to the dock, his body extending into the air, as he eyes Dodger with an amused glint in his eyes. He moves to get out then though because fighting in the water would be rather unfair. The water glistens off his scales in the light and he'll eye Dodger curiously as he moves onto land. ]

I was beginning to wonder if you were to show. [ He'll get dressed again, the water sliding clear off his person with a mere flick of his wrist and it'll form into a small ball as he tosses it back into the calm surface of the lake. Now that he's completely dry they can totally begin. ]

You are fine with using magic, yes? Or would you rather we simply fight with strength alone? I do not care which.

[ Ah he definitely remembers you, Noctis. ]

You wish to spar with me? [ After how he had reacted during their first meeting Aeacinos is both impressed and surprised. His expression conveys both as he leans forward a little, eyebrow quirked as he looks Noctis over. ]

Fishing is something I do naturally. I am a being of the water...born into it, fishing is...a way of life I suppose. Or it was. There are some good spots for it here at least. [ Though he does pause with an amused sort of look on features. ]

You are the second person to mention these video games.

[ Perhaps they were something worth trying out? ]

I can bend matter to a certain extent and interfere with or alter wave emissions, but I'm sure that tells you nothing. Call it magic if you like.

[a pause. she's wondering how fast this guy is, size and all... she can't quite tell just how big he is from the video but it'll be interesting to test her limits with something like this.]

I'll have you know, though, I'm faster and stronger than average humanoid beings. I'd be insulted if you held back at all. Any while we're on it, any special powers of your own I should be aware of?

... not only that, I sympathize. War was just breaking out when I left home... that was probably the moment I wished to be anywhere else but there. As for hobbies... I'm afraid I don't have many either. Just singing, and even that's only for combat.
