[ It's still the small hours of the morning when Yuri flips his video on to record; he's in one of Otabek's oversized t-shirts, and still in bed from the looks of it. His free arm not holding the phone is slung around Otabek's neck, and at first glance it looks as though Yuri is flipping off the camera- but no, that's his ring finger on proud display, a delicate band of black with inset diamonds clearly and proudly shown off for the world to see. Yuri's smiling like he never does- wide and proud, his eyes shut and scrunched up with obvious delight. If one were to look closely, they might even see the faintest hint of tears still clinging to his blond lashes.

With a jubilant shout, Yuri gets on to let the inhabitants of Riverview know: ]

GUESS WHO'S FUCKING ENGAGED, BITCHES!!!! [ He whoops excitedly, turning his head as though he's about to kiss the side of Otabek's own face, but the video ends before he gets there, preferring that kind of affection for private, thanks. ]

I've never heard of the instant-grams. [He's doing this on purpose by now to fuck with Yuri. But he has a hell of a poker face while he does it. They're both shit-heads, honestly.] Back in my day, we taught kids not to talk to strangers, and you got a hundred thousand of 'em looking at your mug.

You'd probably blow your top over Facebook. Literally all of your personal information- birthday, location, hell you can update it with your phone number- plastered in one easily searchable place for the whole world to see if they add you to their friends list. Their privacy rules have gotten a little more strict- but not by much. [ In the digital age, famous as Yuri is he has at least grown up with a sense of how to control his content online- and not to even dream of posting things that he actually wants to keep private. ]

The best part was wiggling the leg with my tongue. Made it look like it was still alive. You're just jealous of my comedic genius.

That sounds like a nightmare. [Literally one of his worst nightmares is the entire world having all his private information easily searchable, including his location. Jesus. Imagining how hard it would be to lay low if he had a fucking facebook...] Do people not realize what other people can do with that kinda information? Some things I will never understand.
