You're patient, and don't simply brush things off--at least not with me.

You could've just ignore my request, or say it was pointless, or just ...do other mean things.

But, you didn't and I know a lot of other adults wouldn't have bothered.

[Like Ivy, simply doing something with her because her step-grandmother (Ivy's mother) ordered her to. Or with her step-grandmother just...making things horrible for her mom.]

We're mortals, what do you expect? We don't have magic or anything to help the process along.

I did not say it was. Magic is not a solution for all problems, either way. It can be dangerous.

Very familiar with it. I can't cast anything, but I grew up around it.

Both of my grandmother's on my dad's side can wield magic...and my great-grandfather, had magic too. He wasn't born with it, though. He got it through another means--which wasn't a good thing.

In my world, fairytales are real and so is their magic.

There's tons of fairytales, and I know quite a few of them. I can get a few books in a few minutes and show you!

I have been told of a few. Such as . . . a woman in a tower, I believe. There were a lot of stories that seemed inappropriate for children, to be honest.

Yeah, that's Rapunzel...and there are different versions of those fairytales, all of whom have their own story.

Like which ones? I thought you didn't know any.

I asked the network about them some time back. The results were quite mixed.

If you want, I can visit you and go over some of the most recognizable ones.

I'm not sure what qualifies as basics.

Snow White and The Seven Drawfs, Cinderella, and Little Red Riding Hood. Those are a few of the basic fairytales.

Uhh, maybe a diner? Or a park? I just need to be home before it gets late.
