I guess this is what you do when you're new? Introduce yourself on the network. So, yeah. I'm Keith, the Red Paladin of Voltron.

Uh... nice to meet everyone, I guess.

[STARING at that username.]

WHO IS THIS

[Good thing Keith is not in the room with Shiro because he's laughing at that. But he knows Keith and he's not going to let this play on when Keith is already making the effort to "text yell" at him.

So he switches it to video now]

I thought you'd be able to guess who this was.

[If they were in the same room, Keith wouldn't be wasting his time talking to Shiro via text or video message. He looked shocked for a second, wondering if something was playing a trick on him.]

Shiro!

[Very shocked.]

Wait- you're here? Where are you?!

[Okay, not the reaction that he was expecting... but maybe its because he wasn't thinking someone else would have been drawn here?]

Yeah I am. Floor 15.

[Yup... Keith was definitely a bit freaked out here.]

A-are you okay?

[No, wait... nevermind. His look turned serious.]

I'm coming up.

[That was an oddly ominous question for Keith to be asking. He didn't just ask that unless there was a reason]

I'm fine.

I'm not going anywhere.

[And if Keith really is coming up, Shiro is the living room on the 15th floor]

Good. You'd better not.

[He couldn't help that slipping out.

It didn't take Keith long to get there and find him. He did hesitate just a moment, making sure Shiro was actually in one piece... or well... yeah. But he was there. In person. Keith felt his heart jump.]

You're really here.

[What did Keith mean by that? Well, he was going to find out soon enough. When Keith came in and found him there, he did give the younger paladin a smile]

Yeah I am. I'm glad to see you. This place is pretty weird.

[That and he has issues. Keith is one person he doesn't have to explain those to]

[Keith barely waited for Shiro to stop speaking before he was taking those last few steps across the room and throwing his arms around the other Paladin. He wasn't a hugger... no where near as much as someone like Hunk, let's say... but he just came from a point where he thought he'd lost Shiro again... for a second time... and here he was, apparently okay and in one piece.]

It's good to see you.

[His voice was muffled slightly, as he had his face buried against his friend's shoulder.]

[Shiro, of course, didn't know exactly why Keith was so worked up seeing him, still thinking it was relating to finding someone he knew in this strange place they had both found themselves in. But as Keith came over and hugged, Shiro hugged back, putting one arm around his shoulder]

It's good to see you too. I was wondering if anyone else was going to be here.

[Keith pulled back, looking at Shiro for a moment. He seemed so... calm.]

What happened to you back home? You disappeared.

[Shiro looked down at Keith as the teen looked up at him. There was a curious look on his face and he wasn't quite sure what it meant.

Then that question. Shiro couldn't help the shocked look on his face]

What do you mean I disappeared?

You disappeared.

[Keith wasn't sure how he could explain it better.]

We fought the battle with Zarkon. He grabbed Voltron's head, but I was able to stab his robot with the sword. When it exploded, we were split apart back into our Lions. We made a run for it through a wormhole, but had to tow the Black Lion back with us to the Castle before we made the jump.

But... you were gone. When I went into the Lion to get you, you weren't there.

[Shiro just continued to stare at him for a few long moments]

When did all of this happen? When did we start fighting Zarkon? We were still using the teladuv. And what do you mean I wasn't there?

It was after that.

Once we went through, we started our attack, taking out as much as we could while Pidge had the ship disabled with the virus.

At some point, Zarkon came out in his own robot. It was big, like Voltron. And we fought him.

[He frowned.]

You don't remember fighting him, do you?

No, I don't remember fighting him. That's all news to me.

But you were there... in the battle with us. How is that possible?

I don't know, but I don't remember this at all. I'm not saying it didn't happen for you, but its not something I can picture. Aside from the plans that we discussed.

But... why?

[Keith frowned, definitely freaked out by this.]

I mean, if we were brought here at the same time, then... we should both remember the same things, right?

We should, but apparently we don't.

[He crossed his arms, tapping one finger on the other arm as though that would help. ... Nope, didn't help]

[Keith frowned. Yeah. He crossed his arms.]

I wonder if it has something to do with this place.

It must. I don't know what else it could be. Otherwise, I'd think we'd know the same thing.

[He glanced to stare out the window for a moment before turning back Keith]

You're alright after that fight?

[Even with all this still worrying about Keith]

[Keith frowned a bit and looked down. This place was going to be a problem, wasn't it? He sighed and then nodded at Shiro's question, looking back up at him.]

I'm not hurt or anything.

[Beyond that, "alright" was a subjective concept.]

[Yes, "alright" was subjective. Physically he might have been alright but the reaction to Shiro's presence definitely meant that he was not doing quite as well]

Good. We'll figure this out. Maybe someone will know something about how this happened.
