I guess this is what you do when you're new? Introduce yourself on the network. So, yeah. I'm Keith, the Red Paladin of Voltron.
Uh... nice to meet everyone, I guess.
[All the awkward. What is this 'being social' you speak of?]

What happened to you back home? You disappeared.

Then that question. Shiro couldn't help the shocked look on his face]
What do you mean I disappeared?

[Keith wasn't sure how he could explain it better.]
We fought the battle with Zarkon. He grabbed Voltron's head, but I was able to stab his robot with the sword. When it exploded, we were split apart back into our Lions. We made a run for it through a wormhole, but had to tow the Black Lion back with us to the Castle before we made the jump.
But... you were gone. When I went into the Lion to get you, you weren't there.

When did all of this happen? When did we start fighting Zarkon? We were still using the teladuv. And what do you mean I wasn't there?
no subject
Once we went through, we started our attack, taking out as much as we could while Pidge had the ship disabled with the virus.
At some point, Zarkon came out in his own robot. It was big, like Voltron. And we fought him.
[He frowned.]
You don't remember fighting him, do you?

[Keith frowned, definitely freaked out by this.]
I mean, if we were brought here at the same time, then... we should both remember the same things, right?
no subject
[He crossed his arms, tapping one finger on the other arm as though that would help. ... Nope, didn't help]
no subject
I wonder if it has something to do with this place.
no subject
[He glanced to stare out the window for a moment before turning back Keith]
You're alright after that fight?
[Even with all this still worrying about Keith]
no subject
I'm not hurt or anything.
[Beyond that, "alright" was a subjective concept.]
no subject
Good. We'll figure this out. Maybe someone will know something about how this happened.
no subject
[He had a lot of questions anyway for a variety of people, really.]
You're okay, too?
no subject
[He reached over to put his hand on Keith's shoulder. He was glad to have him here. He'd been wondering about doing this with people who didn't understand his issues]
no subject
Yeah. It is pretty off-putting. Have you talked to anyone else, yet?
no subject
I've spoken with a few, some of them new here as well. You?
[Shiro was curious. He knew Keith had a temper and could easily lash out at people if they pressed him the wrong way]
no subject
[Okay, so he'd held a few people at knife point, but he'd felt like he was being stalked. He was a little on edge.]
no subject
Where did they stick you to live?
[It's important that Shiro know where he can find Keith]
no subject
[Having a roommate in the Garrison had been one thing. This was a whole new level of 'no privacy'.]
no subject
[Shiro didn't like sharing with people. He couldn't sleep sometimes and needed to be up and he didn't want to disturb others. He didn't like even disturbing the other paladins at night and they knew why he had issues]
no subject
[Keith had his own issues being in a crowded space. He wasn't so much worried about disturbing the others as just needing some time alone once in a while. It was pretty taxing to always have people around. He glanced around.]
I've heard that, if you get a good enough job around here, you can eventually afford to get some place private.
[Keith had a feeling he knew what was bothering Shiro about being in a room loaded with strangers. He didn't specifically say it, but he'd seen enough of Shiro during his flashbacks to know that there was something, and it likely was something he didn't want to explain to anyone outside his immediate circle.
Keith didn't blame him for that.]
no subject
[Shiro wanted a place of his own. One where he didn't have to worry about bothering other people or too many questions about why he couldn't sleep or had nightmares]
Of course it would large enough for both of us.
[Not leaving his
brotherteammate here if he moved out]no subject
Thanks.
[He could do with his own space, too, really. This bed in a giant room with a bunch of other people wasn't going to sit well with him for long.
He appreciated Shiro thinking of him.]
